.@memgrizz injury/status report, April 6 vs @SacramentoKings:

OUT
M. Conley (L heel)
M. Gasol (rest)
J. Green (R/L knee soreness)
A. Harrison (R wrist/L shoulder)
J. Martin (L ankle)
C. Parsons (R/L knee soreness)
W. Selden (R knee soreness)

T. Evans (personal) remains NWT.

The “rest” reason is particularly suspect with only a few games remaining this season. A little imagination is in order. 03-wink

My guess is Gasol plays the last home game vs. Detroit on Sunday, and then sits the last two road games.

Tyreke's situation is fascinating to me. He hasn't been with the team for 2 weeks. But he is an unrestricted free agent this summer. Shouldn't he want to put up #s the last month of the season, and show the league he is worth a contract? Or is he just totally content to accept the Grizz mid-level exception, which is the most they can offer him?

Let's hope it pays off and the Grizz can sign Reke for the mle or they wasted a couple of second round picks. Tyreke will be a big boost for the Grizz if he signs on and can stay healthy.

He is content to accept MLE because Lou Williams got that same amount and set the market at that level. Plus nobody will have cash. The grizz must've given Tyreke a guarantee that we'll give him the MLE if he can't do better so he doesn't have to worry about showcasing himself.

Well we just signed MarShon Brooks to a two year deal.

Here in the FEF tonight where the Grizz have a 48-44 halftime lead on the Kings. I’m doing a little scoreboard watching where the Hawks just beat the Wizards! Nice job Atlanta!

Brooks x 2
Simmons
Rabb
McLemore

for the starters. Down 7 halfway through the 4th.

Well a couple of lead changes in the last minute tonight on clutch shooting by both squads but in the end the Kings got us 94-93. Even though Z-Bo didn’t play he got numerous cheers and went around greeting all his old fan friends at every timeout. Also Justin Timberlake and John Calipari in the house tonight.

RE: Tankathon
currently up 6 at halftime in the final home game vs. Detroit, still sitting at 21 wins

good news - Atlanta came back from 13 down in Boston earlier today to win vs. the rested version of the Celtics

so ATL now at 24 wins - we look to be locked in as the 2nd worst record

we'll see what that means in May with the ping pong balls

anyway, a lot different than when folks thought by not dumping Tyreke, we may fall to 7th, 8th or worse

If Tyreke didnt sit out all of those games with "injuries" we would have won at least 28 games

I believe the Suns clinched the worse record and will have the best odds of snagging the number one pick (25%).

We should end up second with a loss in either of our last two games or a win by Atlanta. With the 2nd pick the worst we could get would be 5th. We would have the highest odds of getting the 4th pick which sucks.

Odds:
1st: 19.9%
2nd: 18.8%
3rd: 17.1%
4th: 31.9%
5th: 12.4%

Atlanta not likely to tie us for 2nd most ping pong balls. Hawks have 24 wins vs. our 22, and they only have one game left. Same with Dallas.

Orlando also at 24 wins, but with two games left. So Orlando would have to lose their last two, and Grizz win last two, both on the road against playoff teams, for the Magic to tie us.

Tankathon is almost over.
