I guess they cannot make it too obvious. They need at least a figleaf of rationale for on court actions. Perhaps they can play the young guys and subs more and change the offensive and defensive skemes in the nominal interest of player development.

The ATL inched just ahead of us into second. Marshon Brooks looked good though. Grizzlies are on the verge of blowing this draft. We could fall all the way to the sixth pick. No Ayton, no Bagley, no Doncic. If we do fall this far I hope we pick Wendell Carter.

We have done all that we had except we do need to play McLemore 40 minutes a game. We gave the TWolves all kinds of chances to win. Portland missed a lot of free throws down the stretch.

The “rest” reason is particularly suspect with only a few games remaining this season. A little imagination is in order.
