That first game was virtually perfect. And, allow me to say that our 1st game was in every way superior to JMU's (then JMC) first game. Everything about it was special including the fireworks afterwards and the happy fans streaming out pf the stadium.

The turf looks excellent with all the lights turned on tonight esp the dark blue in the end zones. Can't wait for the opener.

That is fantastic! And I'm sure it isn't going to go 100% the first game but by the end of the season they'll have that new setup dialed in! Exciting.

It looks phenomenal! I loved foreman field and the old architecture, but this is hands down a better stadium and feel. Now if we can fill it on a regular basis and get the N end zone replaced we will have an amazing facility in which to play football

ODU fans have proven if you put an exciting winner on the field they will fill it. I really would love to see some winning ODU football again and long for that first CUSA football championship.

Anyone know if they 86'd the cupholders for the chair backs? Haven't seen them in any of the photos.

I wonder if this means we might get some of those really cool pre-game CGI stuff that other schools have been successful at. Like having Big Blue in cartoon smashing our opponents mascot before the game starts. Nothing like that to lather the crowd up!

Who knows...if we can get good at this pre-game video production, we might not have to have so many threads about finding music that might get the crowd going.

Most likely will not be installed for the NSU game, but should be ready when ECU comes to visit.

Cup holders are not as high priority as making sure concessions/restrooms are functioning and pass inspection for the big day!

Also, if east side is complete, maybe that means we will get a scrimmage in the new stadium on the 24th!
