Not sure about families, but there are tickets provided for a number of groups including 12 cheerleaders, and up to 350 band membes for each school (on the stage). Sure hope we use them this year and bring the full band.
Page 49 of the Championship manual lays it out:

There isn't room for 350 band members on that weird-ass stage. It might be 350 seats, but that doesn't equal 350 band members. More like maybe 200? We are once again in position to wow the crowd with the biggest band out of all the semi-finalists. Everyone on here knows I will go berserk if we get a repeat of last year's logistical amateur hour...

I have 8 inside club tix in 105 and 4 outside in 107 with hospitality. I'm thinking I can make about $3k selling them and free market my way to Frisco with the tix I buy through JMU.

Not sure about that, they bring in bleachers as needed to accomodate. Last year, they didn’t need that many, so it would have looked smaller seating wise. The space does occupy most of one end zone.
Either way, the manual says they will provide free admission for 350 band members. Once they are in the door, they’ll have to figure something out. I’d say bring everyone we can, and let the game day logistics be the NCAA’s issue. Pretty sure they practice the day prior, so there would be a little time to sort it out.

RE: When are you buying tickets to Frisco?
Last year, I politely asked our leaders to let me rally the MRD alumni troops to eat the cost. Got no reply from anyone I addressed & got a strange response from Scott Rikkers even though he wasn't included on my message.
Sadly, those bozos thought the MRD leadership was telling people to call to put pressure on them. THATS RIGHT, THEIR FIRST ASSUMPTION WAS TO THINK THEIR OWN COLLEAGUES WOULD BE THAT UNPROFESSIONAL.
That's why I don't have patience or respect for these alleged leaders. It's also why I refuse to participate in the blame game phone calls they offer up when they majorly screwup (EKU playoffs, VMI letter etc). It's disingenuous & self-serving. F*** LIARS.

Yup. Can't argue with that plan. I'm gonna try to get to Frisco for free by selling the crappiest four tickets out of my 8 after I buy four more from JMU.

Plenty of Bison fans do this too, and I see no issue with it. My only suggestion would be to offer them to Dukes fans first. Flash Seats has a “transfer” function that some people use to avoid additional fees.
Just FYI: 107 will be the Dukes “home” side, the higher seed has their sideline and ticket block located with the club side of the field.

Definitely will offer to Dukes, but not at a discount! (Unless they're legit friends)

Call or e-mail the Duke Club.
167.7 priority points = 922 ranking.
Thanks! I emailed them and they sent me my ranking. They said only 3,500 “active” DC members. I thought it was a lot higher.

Wonder how many "active" Duke Club members there were for Jon Alger rolled into town on his listening wagon.

Now, if we can just get SHSU to do their job, we can get half their allotment, we should be good. Can I bank on that happening?
If you're referencing last year's game, any team will not be given the remainder of another team's tickets if they didn't bid for the full amount. YSU fans were very upset about the number of JMU fans and the NCAA changed their rules. If one team doesn't bid for the full allotment of tickets, the remainder go on sale to the public.
Figured he was talking about us buying up the tickets SHSU can’t sell and has to return. Assume the NCAA would put them up for sale this time. The bigger thing would be the bison dumping all the seats they’ve been holding since August.
Historically SHSU travels poorly to that stadium just up the road from them. Either way, all the lines have them as 20 point dogs, so it will be a small miracle if they win.
If you were referring to the 2012 NC game where NDSU took over like 3/4s of the stadium, I guarantee you it wasn't from lack of support. NDSU bought up all the advanced tickets before the playoffs even started so it left a bunch of Sam fans scrambling for seats. Tons of folks (myself included) had to settle for SRO tickets. I actually missed my chance at buying them directly from the school. I had to buy them off of a fellow bearkat that was luckily selling them at face value.
If you check out 2011, the stadium was a lot closer to 50-50.
This discussion is probably moot anyway, since I figure we'll lose pretty handily. But I think we'll show up for a NC game IF it comes to it. Sam fans are pretty lackadaisical, but I can't see them passing up a chance to attend the NC game.

Awesome facility with a closable roof. I went to the Cowboys/Skins game there a couple of weeks ago. Since we have a Saturday game it shouldn't interfere with the Cowboys' schedule. Of course, this year we are stuck. I expect a lot of people will not be able to go to the game and that is a damned shame!
The NFL playoffs can be on a Saturday and in fact will be this upcoming January 6th. As a Skins fan, I am hopeful the Cowpunks will not be participating this year - or any year for that matter.
Schedules can be worked around.

SHSU looks like they are going to lose this one big.
Last real chance to buy tickets at StubHub and NCAA Flash Seats, they will skyrocket if the Bison win this game.

Average ticket prices have climbed almost $75 already at halftime. Most tickets at stubhub around $250 and up.

Were there any SHSU fans dumb enough to buy a ticket?
I'm sure those will be going fast.

It's gonna go higher ... much much higher. By Monday morning I predict $500.
You've got a good chunk of 20,000 Bison at the Fargo Dome about to go shopping when they get home tonight. If even 3,000 of them try to buy it's gonna push those prices way up.

Cheapest ticket right now is $300 on Stubhub for sideline seats on the goal line.
