Graham to play Thursday?
Sure sounds like he’s going to from what Carey said today

RE: Graham to play Thursday?
Unless he just picks up a few snaps just to get him in game shape, this is ridiculous. And, poor Santa is left out in the cold - literally. I wonder if Graham gets benched if he throws a pick or two?

I was wondering if he had healed enough to play. Wow, that shakes things up again. Is he going to start?

Yea if this is true (unless hes just getting some snaps in for garbage time), another big head scratcher from the coaching staff. Graham cost us the BC game already.

I mean Ball State is awful, so if he’s your guy it makes sense.

Graham starting after not practicing for two months seems like a huge indictment on the other two though.

They wouldn’t have won that game with Childers lol. They don’t score 14 points with Childers playing.

Santa? They may have scored more but it’s also likely he would have thrown them the ball 2-3 times.

Santa was who I meant for BC since he was second behind Graham at the time. We would have won, Graham threw ducks that game and missed deep WRs that were open multiple times.

Makes no sense with him hardly practicing on top of it. Unless he just sees some occasional snaps throughout the game to get him back in the flow of actual game play.

I read the last sentence as a revelation for you but as you and I and others noted in earlier spring and fall practices that he was the best of the bunch in Carey's eyes.

No practices for Graham and he is going to play? That is an oddity. Unless he is going to be there to handoff in 4th Q perhaps to prep for WMU and shake off some rust.

RE: Graham to play Thursday?
At what point do we start to look at the QB coach for actually developing someone? I think we saw a good amount under Zebrowski and even Cole, but haven't seen much development the last couple years from Harmon IMO.

I mean, for who? Maddie was a WR for fall ball last year and stepped into an awful situation and played pretty well all things considered.

This is officially a s@@tshow. Nothing about this circus is an indictment of anyone except the head coach who has no effing clue what he is doing g

It's an indictment on Carey who has no clue what the hell he is doing. NIU needs to move in a new direction. If this continues this program will sink to the bottom

I sure as hell would stay as far away from NIu as possible if I was HS QB or WR, total joke. I'd transfer out if I was santa or Childers

Just don't react to him. He hates it when this board ignores him.

RE: Graham to play Thursday?
From what I read, Carey said Graham "could play". That doesn't mean anything. He could start. He could play one series when we're up 35-7. He could play zero snaps. He could become an astronaut. FWIW, Tears said it has been "really good" to see Graham out there practicing again. Go ahead and over analyze that too.

Ah, that clears it up. I think.
