1. I watched the video. She was clearly taunting him and not trying to burn him.

2. She did not present a knife. Brandishing a weapon is not the same as taunting someone with a lit cigarette.

Come on. If you actually watch the video, any reasonable person would conclude she was NOT trying to burn him. It is quite obvious she was trying to make the smoke go in his face.

I have no problem with the cop punching her. Her next hit could have put a fingernail in his eye, loses sight in it, ends his career. Hitting a police officer is never a good idea.

I have no problem with either they both got what they deserve. If you put your hands on someone don't be shocked if they do the same. All the lady smoking had to do was put it out. Then when asked..turn around and put her hands behind her back. Once she refused...dragging her ass was the other other choice.

But why is right for a police officer and a damn huge one at that to defend himself from a little slap or maybe both landed by knocking the drunk girl out? Other words why is it looked on different than if you or I did the same thing?

You know what those same cops would be saying to us? Put your hands behind your back. Do you know what most people (even most on this board) would be saying? You should never hit a girl. Those slaps were no harder than this punch the girl throws and both were drunk.

If you noticed...Not a single person around her was unhappy she got tossed. If she was a season ticket holder, I imagine she had already caused problems for people around her and they were glad to see this happen. I had a ******* in front of me for 5 seasons that came in drunk and abnoxious every damn game. I damn near came to blows with him for spilling drink on my wife and another time for dropping F bombs where there were kids around. Some people think that because they have a damn ticket they get to whatever the hell they want in the stadium. Common courtesy be damned. The woman deserved what she got. I hope she got roughed up in the process.
