Can't have it both ways. If the ACA is so much better like y'all claim, then it makes sense that your undefeated teams are more likely to trip up. Obviously if one of them makes it through ACA play undefeated they'd get the nod.

a 3 loss aac champ (canabilized itself), anyone not sdsu wins the mwc and 12-1 toledo would get it

This is a fun debate, but it's only week 3 so not worried about it. It will shake out later. Both USF and SDSU may lose a couple games and someone like a Navy or Houston may be in the lead later. USF is still 8 spots ahead of SDSU in the coaches poll though. SDSU better be careful at AFA this week, that could be a trap game for them. And, honestly, I don't see them beating Boise twice this year. Once in regular season and once in champ game.

i get your premise..but bama is expected to go undefeated..sec is the best conference... its not a both ways decision

Ya thats true but Alabama has gone undefeated in sec play and they are the best conference.

So it is entirely possible an aac goes undefeated buts its really difficult. Other than last year not including the champ game Alabama has not gone undefeated since 2009.

Also neither houston nor ucf went undefeated the years they won ny6 bowls. So its still very possible a one loss aac would get the nod.

I get that, that's why I said if one of y'all go undefeated that team probably gets the nod.

Case for Toledo:

If Tulsa wins 8, EMU goes undefeated OOC (already beat Rutgers with Kentucky and Army left), NIU is above .500 (already beat Nebraska and gets SDSU this week) AND if Toledo knocks off Miami this week, they will be playing catch up but in the convo with maybe the best G5 win. The most meaningful obviously would being 13-0 and getting over the hump this week.

Stanford WAS ranked (19). I hate to admit it but SDSU is easily the front runner right now. USFs schedule is horrendous. Memphis has the best chance in the AAC.

What in the world does USF schedule have to do with anything? You have to be A CONFERENCE CHAMPION to go to the NY6 bowl. If USF wins the AAC, they go.
