I think it'll be either Memphis or Houston facing UCF in the title game but it's still early. Navy could get in there as well.

An undefeated USF vs an undefeated SDSU would make for a fun debate but lets not forget its just week 3. No team is a lock to go undefeated.

An undefeated SDSU and an undefeated USF, would make for a lot of sad faces around here.

Personally, I don't think the AAC gets it. I predict our teams will beat each other up. USF and Memphis could easily drop a conference game or two.

They are one spot ahead. Clearly, teams can jump, based on the evidence of just the past three weeks, and polls in general throughout history. There are multiple teams that were unranked last week, and now are.

Furthermore, you are assuming that the AP Poll mirrors the committee poll, spot for spot, which you would have no way of knowing, nor would I. You continually make this silly argument.

Maybe. As you said earlier there's a lot of football to be played.

the cfp doesnt mirror the AP at all...the cfp has shown to more mirror the coach poll as they are the exact same type of people voting

coach poll has usf 17 and sdsu 25

Totally agree with you. Funny though, there is an entire industry that is based on these types of prognostications.

you just stop...ap poll is media ...cfp is made up of ADs and former coaches

week 13 last year (this was a completely random selection)
ap poll: wmu 14
coaches poll: wmu 18
cfp: wmu 21

the committee like the coaches poll are slow to give g5 tems who arent preseason touted much clout

RE: NYD Bowl 2017
An undefeated usf would have wins over a respectable if not ranked Houston and ucf (wildcard but they look improved) and a potentially ranked Memphis in the ccg.

Sdsu has already played their two biggest games and are still below us. Only possible good game left is Boise. It would be a debate for sure but both of us undefeated and usf will get it.

We'll know more when the playoff rankings get released.

Winner of aac or Sdsu.

USF Memphis and Sdsu should all be ranked right now(i know they prob won't all be). Short of aac champion having 2 losses I think we should still get it.
Stanford WAS ranked (19). I hate to admit it but SDSU is easily the front runner right now. USFs schedule is horrendous. Memphis has the best chance in the AAC.

WAS, is the key word. Let's see how they end as I said if Stanford drops to 7-5 or8-4 by the end of the year, that's what will count not the rank they had in the third week.
At the end if you don't win your conference title is moot. IF USF can finish as the AAC champion ar 12-0 I like our chances.
