RE: An Analysis of TV OTT Platforms
One nice advantage for those living out of two homes. YoutubeTV allows me to keep Tampa as my home up at my summer place in NY. It lasts for a few months before going away. I would have to sign back into the actual Tampa region in like 3 months or it will revert to the local NY region. I can get my locals OTA in NY so this works well for me. I get to watch the FOX regional broadcast of the Rays games (or Marlins).

RE: An Analysis of TV OTT Platforms
Quote:After years of stop-and-go negotiations and regulatory hurdles, T-Mobile and Sprint are now closer than ever to closing their $26 billion merger and acquisition deal. On Friday, the US Department of Justice (DOJ) finally approved the deal after the carriers agreed to sell key business assets to Dish Network.
As part of the divestiture requirements set by the DOJ, Dish will acquire Boost Mobile, Virgin Mobile, and Sprint's prepaid business for approximately $1.4 billion. The purchase includes 9.3 million customers and 400 employees.
Dish will also pay $3.6 billion for licenses to 14 MHz of nationwide 800 MHz spectrum.

RE: An Analysis of TV OTT Platforms
PS Vue has ACCN and NHL Network live. If youre a sports fan that $55/month package gets you pretty much every major channel except PAC 12 Networks

RE: An Analysis of TV OTT Platforms
Maybe someone here can help me. Is there a streaming service that has the ESPN channels including ACCN, Golf channel, AMC and Game Show network? Those are the channels we can't do without in my family.

Cord Cutter News generally has a pretty good listing of what channels are on what service and they typically update it every month.

There is not 1 service with all these channels.
Hulu Live $45/month doesnt have AMC or GSN
YouTube $50/month doesnt have GSN
PS Vue $55/month doesn't have GSN even though they are both owned by Sony.
If/when Sling adds the ACCN, that would be your best bet
It would cost you $60/month - Sling Orange/Blue ($40) + Total TV Addon ($20 for all 7 category addons plus DVR)
If you dont want the DVR and the extra channels you can get what you posted for $55/month only adding on Sports and Comedy packages
Your best bet at this point is to use two services.
YouTube TV for all but Game Show Network ($50/month)
KlowdTV for Game Show Network ($10/month)
https://www.klowdtv.com/package.ktv?package=base
FrndlyTV also has Game Show Network ($6-$10/month)
https://www.frndlytv.com/
I would also recommend using Buzzr for your game show fix instead of Game Show Network. Buzzr can be found for free on the Pluto TV and Stirr apps

RE: An Analysis of TV OTT Platforms
Here are the major gaps for the big streaming providers
Sling - CBS, Fox RSNs, ACCN, Big 10 Network, Fox News
Hulu - AMC, Hallmark, Viacom, Game Show Network, Pro Sports Networks, BEIN
YouTube TV - A&E, History, Lifetime, Viacom, Hallmark, Game Show Network, NFL/NHL, BEIN
PS Vue - Viacom, Game Show Network
Fubo - Disney/ABC/ESPN

You’ll have to puzzle it together.
Philo TV has the channels you are looking for and then some for $20.
Try.philo.com
Then when Sling offers ACCN you can have that for sports.

Thank you all for your help. I definitely asked the right place.
I'd never heard of Philo but they have a nice package of channels for $20.

Philo has a dvr for free. Just save a show you like and will record all episodes and keep them for 30 days. Wife saw Ghost Hunters was rebooted on A&E we had to subscribe.

Bumping this as a reminder of how useful the suppose.tv tool is.
Plug in your location and your "must have" channels, and you'll get a list of recommended streaming-service packages with pricing displayed for each. Much easier than looking at each streaming service separately to figure out who has the channels you want to have.

RE: An Analysis of TV OTT Platforms
There is a new service called Vidgo that is having a soft launch. Per Cordcutters.com, for $15/month you can get Pac 12 Network, BEIN Sports, and the Free Stadium channel.
https://www.cordcuttersnews.com/vidgo-ad...9-package/
Update: cord cutters news goofed, no ESPN, FS1, or NFL Network. Vidgo would still be a good addon to YouTube or Hulu TV for college sports fans wanting PAC12 Network access

Update my OP with Video as this is a pretty decent package. I put in the Non-sports channel section since it doesn't have the major sports channels.
It'll be interesting to see how this company develops.

RE: An Analysis of TV OTT Platforms
Roku device users can now add Apple TV to the channel list. You'll also be able to watch the Apple TV+ and other channels on Apple TV via your Roku Device. One thing though if you have one of the older devices, you won't be able to update to Roku OS 9.2. Still if have to upgrade the device, they are pretty decently priced.
Also, from the latest Qtr report, Roku added another 2 million subscribers and now stands at 29.1 million subs.
