You have a constitutional right to aid in your appeal. Since he can't, the conviction is vacated and his family can collect the insurance on the voiding of his contract.

If you respect the laws that takes away a persons freedom then you have to respect the laws of the Commonwealth of Mass. that sets a person free...in death. In the eyes of everyone on this earth he murdered another man and he's guilty of that crime. But the same law that puts a man away needs to be applied the same way even if it sets a guilty one free.

This is a country govern by laws...some bad, some good. We don't get to choose which one we obey
