RE: CUSA Men's All Conference Teams
I thought Caver would be 2nd Team and hoped Branden would be 3rd Team. Oh well. Just win 3 (or 4) more and it will make up for a lot of things this season.

RE: CUSA Men's All Conference Teams
Didn't realize Bracey was from Baltimore. Man, a first teamer and the freshman of the year were basically taken from what should be our recruiting backyard. How does a kid from VB and another from Baltimore choose to play in CUSA but at Rice and LT respectively, rather than for what should be the CUSA "home" team for them in ODU? And JJ is supposed to have recruiting ties to the DC/Baltimore area too.

There are a lot of reasons that we didn't recruit Bracey. There are a lot of "home" schools much closer to Baltimore than ODU, and there are a lot of reasons those schools decided not to recruit him, as well.

Why would Baltimore be ODUs backyard? How many schools are at or above us and much closer?

Temple, Nova, GTown, Maryland, UVA, and VCU just to name a few. But it should be noted that folks from other schools should be wondering how they let Talley and Caver go to ODU.

And Evans from Rice was being recruited forever by the coach at Rice when he was the VCU coach and when he left to become head coach at Rice, Evans followed him there. Not all that hard to understand.

My point was if Bracey or Evans was going to choose a CUSA school, it makes sense that ODU would be their first choice. I get that there are ACC, A10, CAA schools etc that are closer to Baltimore and DC, but ODU is the closest (or "home") CUSA school. I'm happy to take Coach's word for it that there were legit reasons not to recruit Bracey. He's never steered me wrong before.

Recruiting isnt even about what school is closest to me. Georgetown was even recruiting Bracey and offered.

Stupid.
Just Louisiana Tech, who they split the season series with. 0-4 against the rest.
We didn't beat either of the teams ahead of us. But if we had beaten LT we would be #2.

Tech has another kid coming in next season from Maryland that might be just as good in Anthony Duruji
