Still 0-0 in the 8th. Dukes now have outhit Elon 2-1. Rarity in college baseball to see such little hitting and run production in the 8th inning.

Hopefully the Good Guys can scratch across a run here and escape with a win in this road series.

Dukes have lost 5 straight and haven't scored more than 2 runs in any during this bad streak. The lone bright spot today was the pitching was pretty good - certainly deserving of a better fate.

After a promising start, the diamond dukes are starting to come back down to earth. Well, just improve over last year's finish...

FWIW, Wednesday's home game has been moved up an hour from a 6pm first pitch to a 5pm start against Mason. Strong weather system moving into the area Wednesday evening.

Diamond Dukes will start Soph. righty Matt Marsili at the top of the hour against Mason in a game streamed live via MadiZone. Marsili has 10 appearances this season, but this will be his first start.

Dukes need to stop this 5-game losing streak. Brett Johnson remains out of the lineup today (for the 2nd game in a row...not sure what's going on there...injury???). Hopefully, the offense will break out of its funk today (6 scored runs total during this losing streak).

JMU has dropped in the RPI now to #153 after briefly sneaking into the top 100 just over a week ago. Mason is #255 in the RPI, 10-18 overall though 2-1 in the A-10. The Patriots come into today's game on a 3-game losing streak.

Down 4-0 heading to the btm of the 4th the Good Guys finally broke out and manufactured some runs. Tie game 4-4 still batting after chasing the starter. Let's go Dukes!!

Free baseball on a cold night...Dukes scored a run in the btm of the 8th to tie it at 5-5. Game now heading to the 10th.

6-5 walk-off HR from Sciorra. Dukes needed a win after dropping six in a row. Hopefully they can keep it going tomorrow afternoon.

Lost game two 8-4. Rubber match today. Time for the good guys to step up and win the series at home.

Dukes lose game three. Were down 11-2 after the top of the fifth, but then battled back only to end up losing by one, 12-11.

The complete crumble of what was once a very promising season continues. Liberty has scored 8 in the top of the 2nd (and still batting) to take a 8-0 lead tonight.

Wow the wheels really fell off for the team once CAA play started. Hopefully can get it together soon (although a weekend series @ UNCW won't help) and sneak into the CAA tourney again
