Now assuming that each public restroom has an average of five toilets, and each officer of the Poop Police can watch two restrooms (one Men's, one Women's), that's 19.3 million new jobs.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics counts 7.4 million long-term unemployed in the U.S. as of Dec. 2016.

And there we have full employment. The bigly genius that is Trump strikes again.

Brilliant.

Does Dan Patrick have a radio show?

This is a naked attack on our community. Foisted by people who think that going into a children's changing room to perv at kids changing for sexually gratifying purposes is so worthy that they'll elect the perp President.

Please justify this bill using any other rationale than hatred of the LGBT community. Then apply that logic to Dan Patrick's support of DJT. You simply can't do it. And you know it.

Should DJT be impeached for going into a child's changing room to perv out? If so, should every GOP supporter of SB6 be asked to sign on to impeachment of DJT for said act? He'd be committing a crime under SB 6. He committed a crime prior to it too (leering at people changing is a crime - albeit hard to prove - but DJT admitted to it).

There's nothing to this bill but hatred of LGBT people. Full stop. Feel free to justify supporting SB6 and DJT at the same time.

Where exactly is this community ? Gays and straights live all over the map. There is no community as such.

Both do.

The Dan Patrick (born Dannie Goeb) in this equation is the Lt Governor of Texas. He owns/owned a far right wing, frequently homophobic radio station in Houston. He was accused of celebrating the Pulse shootings while people were still collecting bodies from the nightclub by posting a religious verse (he didn't do that normally) traditionally used by homophobes to celebrate disasters (Galatians 6:7).

The sports Dan Patrick is another person.

Dan Patrick has been a fervent supporter of Donald Trump, even after he bragged about sexually assaulting women and even admitted, on air, to crashing a locker room filled with teenaged girls, in order to oogle them while they were dressing. So its obvious that Dan Patrick is just doing this because he hates LGBT persons. Because he has no problem with elevating someone to the Presidency who does exactly what he claims needs fixing.

Try going into the men's room in a dress at the bowling alley or at a Rockets game and see how much harrassment you get.

How would you know how much harassment one would get? I mean, you haven't worn a dress & then sauntered up to the men's urinal have you??

From long and detailed conversations with members of the Trans community. Its a real problem and they are real people.

Aren't men who dress as women different than men who want to become women? A man that likes to dress as a woman should be treated differently than a man who actually thinks he is and wants to become a woman.

So no protections. If a Transperson gets attacked or insulted by a pack of males in a restroom....they should either be able to beat them off or they deserve the beating/humiliation? And if they get 'outed' as being Trans by using the mens room at work and they are harrassed because of it, should they not be able to sue their employer for it?

That appears to be your solution. Color me unconvinced that this bill is anything more than an attack on our community.

Besides you elected Trump. Why are you not concerned about his violating teen girls? Because he is white, straight and conforms to cisgendered gender roles?

The problem is that vast majority of Republicans, especially in Texas, cannot accept that gender is fluid and win reelection in a Tea Party/Trump GOP Primary. So they cannot admit that. They must always call those people 'mentally ill' either directly or by implication.

Dan Patrick most certainly won't admit that. And that's why this bill cannot be defended as anything more than a straight up attack on the LGBT community.

I know you're not going to like this, but I would guess the vast majority of America would agree that gender is not fluid.

Pro Tip: lashing out and declaring there is a "War on Gays" doesn’t exactly bring people around.

You're simply concerned that your preeminent position (as a LGBTQ and as a liberal) in American society is under threat, staus wise. And liberals care a lot about status.

Said the guy willing to excuse DJT of sexual assualt and perving teenaged girls enought to elect him President. Your white privilege is showing. Looks like you think that white Billionaires are a protected class.

Where can a F to M go to the restroom in Texas under Dan Patrick's hate bill without being harrassed or humiliated? Nowhere.

Bill Clinton was the only one who had to pay in court for sexual assault and perved a 19 year old in the White House (yeah President doing a 19 year old is perverted). And your candidate not only excused him, she viciously attacked his victims.

You line is pretty hypocritical. And the GOP "war on gays" is as much bs as the "war on women." Peter Thiel got a standing ovation for his endorsement of Trump at the convention after saying he opposed the GOP planks on gay issues. Yet the Democrats in Silicon Valley are trying to drive the gay CEO out, cutting him off from his venture capital fund and trying to get him fired from boards. Sounds like a Democratic war on gays, forcing them into groupthink.

How on Huskie Jebus' green earth is a law on paper going to protect this person in this situation? Anybody cornered in a enclosed space by an angry mob should protect themselves, aggressively. Perhaps the answer is a refresher on Second Amendment rights for the LGBT community?
