EMU which has not been bowl eligible since 1987 (not 1995**) goes from one win to wrapping up bowl game eligibility on election night while MSU plays like EMU used to play...
* Second time since 2000 this has happened, but it never happened in the 20th century.
** In 1995 EMU had 6 wins but two were vs. FCS teams so we were not bowl eligible. And there were certainly no need to take teams without at least 5 FBS wins to fill slots.
Otherwise, an absolutely boring year in politics and sports...
