thats wroog, the WR has to be set..#2 is keevan lucas, he is a wr, and he clealry wasnt set
He may not have been set, but please how do you know that from that pic?

there a gif of the play, tulsa didnt even have enough player on the line
They had 11 on the line, how many did you expect?
The Cougars stopped the carrier short of the goal line. There's no need to cheapen your players' effort by looking for violations from Tulsa.
All that's needed to be said is "He didn't score, game is over" instead of looking for obscure irregularities.
Good win by the Cougars. Great effort by Golden Hurricane.

Here's the context.
Tulsa sportswriter John Hoover and someone at SB Nation were whining on twitter last night about how Houston:
1) had 13 on the field
2) was offsides
on the play in question.
Quo Vadis posted the same thing here.
The response is "unclean hands." Before you can claim a foul on Houston, Tulsa had to do everything right on that play. They didn't.
So your righteous indignation is misplaced.

It seems obvious that the common sense response to the sports writer's comment would have to respond to the writer's comments about Houston not committing penalties instead of complicating the discussion by attempting to point out uncommitted penalties by Tulsa. However, I do understand that the accepted manner of disagreement here for some is to "one-up" attack irrelevant comments. I'm not sure why anyone would care about Quo's comment, or mine for that matter. :)
Congrats on the win, Cougars. Nice effort Golden Hurricane.

When the claim is that "Houston wasn't in the right place when the ball was snapped," the response "Not sure that's right, but Tulsa sure wasn't" complicates the discussion?
Are we simpletons?

This Tulsa - Houston rivalry is more heated than I thought. When do we get to have a big oil derrick trophy to play for?

Next thing you know our Mayors will start friendly wagers on the game.
It feels nice to know we're Houston's biggest and oldest rival in the AAC.

So what does the clock look like on the trophy for this game?
Ohhh... this "rivalry" doesn't have a clock trophy? And you still think it's a rivalry? How adorable.

Yes there are 7 and #2 may be set, we can't tell that from the pic, but the video shows he is "still". Some select Cougar fans have "unique" observation skills and zero ability to admit a mistake. :)

There are none so blind as those who refuse to see.
It's always been #9/#8 (hard to tell) next to #2 who does not come to a full stop (as described in the rule as the entire body motionless) for one second before the snap.
