Yep, 2 and 8 are off the line, not moving and part of the legal 4 in the backfield. Meanwhile 10 and 91 for Houston are offside at the snap. Regardless, if Evans keeps running on the previous possession and gets what he can rather than sticking the ball out in traffic to try a low percentage throw we're probably all talking about the tough Houston loss and how they were screwed.

What do the rules say about where subbing players enter/leave the field of play? They're hit either way. I believe it's between the 30 yard lines to enter and exit the field.

8 (9?) has not come to a full stop one second before the snap as required by the rule posted above.

I don't harbor the same hate for Houston as many Tul$a fans do. I see them for what they are, a long term rivalry that will continue for many more years in the AAC.

It's a healthy rivalry steeped in all the pageantry that is college football.

I'm just glad they're sticking around with us in the AAC. We'll have plenty more opportunities for revenge.

on the "and how they were screwed" part. True!

But 10 and 91 are not offsides. The ball was on the legit 1 yard line, and 10 is running along the 1/2 yard line. So is 91. Not only that, but if you are going by this pic to determine that, the ball hasn't been snapped yet, because the center is still standing up. If he has already snapped it, and is standing up afterward, no one has crossed the LOS from either side yet.
