The new law hasnt dried it up. The fact that it is now well known to everyone that the town of Charlotte is run by a transgender who is clearly pushing the transgendered agenda on businesses is telling people to stay out.

Notice, not a lot about Charlotte there. Everyone else seems to be doing pretty well.

Also, considering NC is one of the highest booming populations in the country, Charlotte was ranked #8 in the state. Way lower than the other cities.

Now, if thats NOT what it is, provide a link backing it up with facts. Not agenda talking points from this dude below.

NBA threatening to pull the All Star game if no resolution by end of summer.

http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nba.../85325328/

I'll believe it when I see it, but its evidence that this ain't going away. Can you imagine the impact on the Governor's race if the NBA did pull the game and announced it in September? Because that's what's being threatened.

You dont subvert the will of the people and try to force this sh*t on them, and expect things to be all hunky dorie.

The last time you guys did this, you were celebrating getting the ballot measure to legalize gay marriage in california. Then got all butthurt when it was voted down.

Dont worry, there will be plenty of press in between now and then. More men in womens bathrooms.

The NBA will learn a valuable lesson at some point; you dont sh*t on your paying customers to try to make an ill-conceived social policy statement.

North Carolina's Anti LGBT law
Remember that there are significant provisions in HB2 that don't have anything to do with bathrooms and they hurt everyone. This is possibly the endgame the NCGA is angling for with bathrooms the beard. The State Chamber of Commerce may well have even written the provisions that prevent taking employment disputes to state court.

Whatever, but the fact is that Jennifer Roberts, the mayor of Charlotte isn't a transgender female. He said she was, so is he just trying to spread a lie, be funny or does he actually think she is? I'm just wondering.

I actually thought she was. I thought an article was posted saying she was.

This has been thrown out there by many. That ALEC and its corporate sponsors are using the anti-Gay, and anti-Trans provisions to focus outrage on areas outside of the anti-worker provisions.

But I think it wasn't ALEC, but rather the 'everything Art Pope wants' bill.

So obvious compromise, pass the workplace provisions without the bathroom provisions.

Even when that was tried, in Gainesville or Plano, we had to fight the 'bathroom' fight anyway.

McCrory and Art Pope would have nullified it anyway.

That doesn't work for me. The workplace provisions are more of an issue for me than the bathroom ones. All of it needs to be repealed.

Sorry, probably didn't state my position clearly. Pass the workplace measures that you want, leave bathrooms up to property owners. If Target wants to do one thing, and Wal-Mart another, let them and see where the shoppers go.

Seems that PayPal has not announced a new location for their operations center.

Sort of confirms that maybe they were using the bathroom law as an excuse to back out of the new facility plan they realized they didn't need.

Or maybe they figured it might give them leverage to renegotiate an increase in the $2.7 million aid offer they had previously received from NC.
