Really solid game for him these days. He never gets 19 shots up.

RE: Kent Bazemore - Latest News
I watched the game last night all the way through OT. What an awesome game. GS was down 15 in the 4th and Baze was instrumental in that comeback. Scored the last 4 points to tie it in regulation. Curry got most of the accolades for hitting the game winner but he did hardly anything before OT, except for drawing double teams that left open the role players like Baze to take over. Bazemore definitely took advantage.

Reread the bolder statement........
And reassess if Curry “did hardly anything”

Baze was locked in and on a mission. Maybe they should have double teamed him instead.

I'm not sure what you want me to reassess. I added "except for" which means that it is an exception to the previous statement. You even bolded it.

It was fun the way he played against Miami. However, the next two games he scored a total of 6 points, I think, and did not shoot well. I am a big fan of his, but let's face it, at this point in his career he is good for about 15 minutes and 6 points a game, basically a limited role player. Still a great situation for him. Games like he had against Miami are outliers.

and I'm totally ok with that as long has he: 1) has a long NBA career which allows him to; 2) score more points than any VCU player; and 3) Contributes to the alma mater once in a while.
Same with TH. I pray that he has a long NFL career... (but I'm also a Redskins fan)

Not every player is an All-Star starter. But Baze is having a great run and has been a double point scorer more years (six) than not and made some serious money. Six more points he'll be a 5,000 point scorer, that pretty good.

On top of all the points made, he is a solid guy and a great teammate, it seems. I've always wondered if he and Blaine Taylor have stayed close.

I'm with you on wishing a long NFL career for TH, as you can tell from my posts on The Stadium. By the way, my two sons have come close to disowning me, as I am the reason they are staunch Cowboys fans.

Baze got to 5,000 last night.
Undrafted Free Agent. Then to make the roster as the #499th best player in the league, only one lower. Now a 5K scorer in the NBA. Well done Baze.
