Been to Lincoln Financial on the otherhand...that place is awesome (sans the Eagles fans)

Going to Redskins game as a kid, FedEx Field was my favorite place in the world. I have countless memories there, several which I hold fondly. However, going to Redskins game as an adult, my perspective has changed, a LOT. If you're willing to get there several hours early to tailgate, traffic isn't that bad. But for the average fan who wants to drive up and come in, it's a nightmare. There's a metro stop by the stadium but its a hike to get from there to the stadium and back. There are 4 roads that lead into the stadium, and all cause miles and miles of backup. Landover was an awful place to put a stadium. Traffic is horrible, concessions suck (did you guys hear about them serving expired beer last year?), and the demo they've been doing to the place for the last decade have ruined the look and feel of the stadium. As a Redskins die hard I love being around the fans inside and out in the parking lot, and of course it's always fun to watch your favorite team in person, but they really do need to leave that place. It's getting worse with age
And its really not that old. Thats the saddest part.
I've been to games at RFK, so I know what "old" looks like. I feared for my life in that place.
Fedex field is turning in to a rust bucket from the lack of preventive maintenance.
not to totally get off topic, but have any of you ever been to Labeau field in GB? I went there for the NYG playoff game in 2012. I can't begin to describe what an awesome experience that is for a game. its everything FedEx field isn't.

Not yet, but I will. I have a standing invite from my cousin in Madison to both Packers and Badgers home games. I just have to make it happen.

RE: The New Football Stadium Thread
I'm sorry but can someone delete this thread. I didn't realize someone had already started one, lol
Overall, I'm pleased with the results, although I think the new end zone should be incorporated into phase one and not two.
