Trump is an interesting dynamic for sure. The number of people running to his defense on social media is astonishing. I don't think he takes much of a hit in the polls. Maybe 5%.

The best thing the republicans can do to stop Trump is to give him more forums to keep opening his mouth. You give him legitimacy by shutting him out of things like this.

I love how people are threatening the GOP to be nice to Trump or he'll go third party. LMFAO

So their little focus group that they had on after the debates and said that Trump's behavior came across poorly (where have they been, under a rock?) appears to be not very representative of what most thought.

I think a lot of it is that none of the others stood out. Most of them just want to be seen as the most middle-class, anti-Obamacare, god-fearing patriotic candidate of all of them. They're catering to the people that are already willing to vote for a Republican, but I see them getting very few Independents and no Democrat-leaning voters.

Yup. And with all the hand ringing on the economy, I didn't hear one of them say a thing about what they would do to improve it.

Since I don't watch Fox normally I'll have to take your word for it.

Fox did everything they could do except for hiding Tanya Harding behind a curtain with a lead pipe to kneecap The Donald. Long live the Trumpster.

But he damages the Republican brand in the process. The GOP doesn't need another Todd Akin dragging down the non-crazies.

Boehner, McConnell, et al have already damaged the "Republican brand" beyond repair.

the ironical....you're right on 1.5 counts (yeah, it doesn't makes sense yet).....

there is a portion of voters that care that they've lost due to these guys.....would argue lack of participation is stronger than changing sides

more importantly.........most....AND I MEAN MOST....of the voting block doesn't have a clue who the fk they are....

it's a pointless argument......it's like arguing abortion...

this is why the 'padding the pocket' media has created the 'brainwashing effect' that exists amongst most today.....

people just aren't created equal.....unless it comes to housing, thirst, and food......

Stolen from twitter: Donald Trump is leading in the polls for the same reason your daughter is dating the guy with the motorcycle.

How does the establishment get Jeb the nomination? He's like 5th. Romney was always 2nd or 3rd. I know I'm switching parties to get my vote in for the Trumpster for the primary. Spread the word.
