That little tractor is getting a workout hauling all those stacks of bricks down that little dirt ramp hill on the left!

That answers the ramp wall height question.
Just as depicted.
Many bricks...

The gate to the stadium was open this morning so I rode my bike in to get a couple of different angles.

From the east stands

Moved out a little to see the whole thing.

The level of the new facility is about six feet lower than the concours.

Brick wall in front now covers the ramp behind. It's getting there!

There's a small group of men on the roof in the very center working on something. Wonder if it may be some kind of prep work for the video board, or if they are just assisting the guys on the scaffolding filling in the top front facing?

Some of the blue fencing is gone in the back so you can see the rear of the building.

There's a big crane there too, with the load centered perfectly.
Still have to guess what they're up to...

Tweeted that it's the first piece of the video board going up. Excited to see what we are getting.

From the looks of that bottom piece they are hoisting right now, it will be half again as wide on each side as the white back bracing.

Don't forget to bring your 3-D glasses to the game!

I wonder what "world-class technology" we're getting.

Yea I have no clue what that means. The size of the cross beams look good for up where it is. Really looks like a first class job all around. I wonder if they are going to grass the corners for people to sit on?

It'll probably be the nicest scoreboard known to mankind. I only hope the sound system is just as good.

I may just be naive, but is anyone else confused as to how this is going to be finished by August 1?

I think back to George Brown's comment when asked if Rice Stadium would be ready for its first game, "Is it a day game or a night game?"

Also reminded of the first night with the scoreboard that Todd Graham brother-in-lawed for us. There was a tech rep from Daktronics who looked like he was about 18 in the press box to ride herd on the startup. When we flipped the switch to turn it on, I thought he was going to have a major anxiety attack. When it all did work, he was the most relieved person in the building, by far.

That was my initial thought as well ... although I'm guessing much of the cosmetic stuff can come together pretty quickly.
