pure point?

Any kind of guard. We lose all three in our rotation after next year.

Alex Alverado in a Tweet has Bond in the backcourt.

I assume this is possible if we continue to stock up the front court.

Gee, we have been having this discussion for 18 months.

Sorry, I was the first to add information that he signed first. I know where he is from. Seems like some of you need to follow the "golden rule."

Thanks.

As I posted elsewhere, I'm traveling and working with an iPad on its last legs. Crashing like hell and a smart phone.

Not fun.

Not the best way to read and post. :(

Bond is small forward playing point not really the answer at that position. Yes he playing small forward on defense. And yes we've had this discussion for 18 months just like we had the conversation about Stone being offered by EMU for almost six months. Some of the basketball posters have this know it all attitude and frankly its annoying.

RE: 2016/17/18 Men's Basketball Recruiting
This guy may be on our radar for this year's class:

Dwight Burton 6’2″ combo guard Detroit Delta Prep

July’s 2015 biggest stock riser with the Michigan Playmakers. Might have the fastest first step in Michigan with ability to blow past defenders and score in mid-range. Still learning a feel for the game. Has only played organized basketball since ninth grade.

Believe played at Mumford before transferring before his senior year. Detroit Delta Prep is Class C.

This article discusses his background and some eye popping junior stats at Mumford:

Interesting.

His career spans that of Raven's and also his h.s. coach (Oates) who is the UB head coach.

As folks here have been posting, we have need for another guard.

Ethan Alvano is leaving the program per a Tweet I saw (Verbal Commits).

This gives us another scholarship.

I'm not surprised. He wasn't getting minutes.

Murphy needs to add a PG and a shooter. If they keep everyone else and make a few strategic adjustments (like the occasional man defense) they should be towards the top of the MAC.

I don't understand this list. No Cassius? No Corey Allen?
I've done PA for Ypsi the last two years and Allen not making this list is quite puzzling.

Skyline is loaded with young talent who will be going into their Jr year. If they can keep that team together and get consistent play from their front court they be dangerous the next two years. Wade and Ammerman play like grown men.

RE: 2016/17/18 Men's Basketball Recruiting
Quite frankly it is next to impossible to predict, which if any, h.s. players from MI Murphy will sign.

A). He doesn't sign a lot of h.s. kids usually one or two (max) per year.

B). They are more likely to be from outside of MI, rather than inside players like EA, Bond, Thompson, etc.

The over/under line for Murphy signing a high school player from MI is probably 1/2. 50 - 50 chance of signing one. 50 - 50 chance of signing none.

With two scholarships to give, I'd guess there is say 50 - 50 chance of him signing one MI h.s. player and I'd guess someone like Turner, maybe Towns.
