Lol, I would prefer to be optimistic and think of best case scenario not worst.

I think that by definition, worst case scenario would be 0-12.
However, I think 6-8 wins would demonstrate that the program is trending in the right direction.

We should've gotten to 8 wins in 2016. I say let's get there this year.

RE: worst case scenario next football season
Another tough year lets remember we won the close ones in 2016 and lost plenty of close ones in 2017 and that's with Roback at QB and 3 excellent WRs. As you all know QB is the open question mark this year with WR a second although I'm more comfortable with the WR situation than the QB due to our returning WRs game experience. Our defense lost some great guys but our DC has done an excellent job building up and rotating depth at all of those positions. .500 seems to me to be reasonable 6-6

I think that in his fifth year CC should be making a serious run at the league title. It doesn't appear that he's there.

Worst case: less than five wins and some of you calling for him to be replaced.
Best case: a winning MAC record

I think worst case scenario is huge injuries on defense and o-line, we play qb carousel, and only win 2 games.

Best case scenario, 7 wins:
- We have a situational and creative play calls that use our skill sets.
- o line looks good.
- we have a really good/effective running game.
- our defense wins us the close games.

EMU FB has a 'ceiling effect' in that we play in a very tough division which hurts our ability to rack up some easy MAC wins.

In any given year the #1 MAC team might be WMU, TOL or NIU.

If we were in the MAC East we'd be bowl eligible 2016, 7 and 8.

Worse case scenario:

1) Bunsis becomes the AD
2) We keep the rugby style punts
3) Our DEs get hurt.

If none of the above occur then we will win 8 games.

I see worse case scenario is starting 1-5 and things snowballing from there.

I, too, find the early schedule very difficult.

The MAC hasn't done us ANY favors TWO years in a row. Our toughest conference games come early in the schedule and the easier games at the end.
