On this, I agree. I don't think Ebola will catch on like wildfire here, but I don't think those kind of travel restrictions are excessive or unusual. Stopping someone from an infected region from coming into the US would be more difficult, though.

Thought it odd that they blamed infection of one batch of monkeys due to
being shipped by KLM, but didn't seem to connect why.

Its concerning that we're letting people travel in from Liberia of all places right now, but stopping Ebola is pretty basic health care prevention that most Americans should do every day. We'll be fine.
