Maybe get the conference to forbid Western from winning it? :)
If we win it can we abolish it? If you win it can you abolish it before you leave?

How do they score or weight this ranking. Seems a hugh difference for similar overall conference results to date.
Points based on NCAA postseason performances.
ASU is getting points for a 5th place national finish in Bowling, and a 19th and 24th place finish in Men's and Women's Track and Field.
Cajuns are getting points for 33rd place in Men's Basketball, and has points in another sport. WKU has points for Women's Basketball and Swimming.
Football does not offer points.
Then how did AState and UL each score 45 points in football?

RE: Updated Bubas Cup standings
Years ago someone posted on their school board (UNT maybe) an alternate Bubas Cup. For each sport they took what percentage of the available points a school scored. If it was a 9 team sport and you won it, that's 9 and you scored 100% of the available score and your score was 1.000 if you finished last you got 11.1% of the available points (1/9) and the score was 0.111
NACDA for the Director's Cup only counts your performance in your 10 best scoring men's sports and 10 best scoring women's sports. Keeps the Ivies from doing even better than they do with their 30 sports.

1 in 6 years. Not bad. That win was what got you your bowl bid, right? Oh wait........
You do finally see us leaving you behind don't you?
Its happening at a rapid pace. Embrace the suck that is ULM.
You boys, McNeese and Latex can all have a pity party.
Heard ya'll were setting up a snow cone stand to raise funds for athletics? Confirm or deny?

Be consistent. You have BB and tennis as tourney champs. So they didn't win the regular season (BB), right? Ergo: you have to wait for the tourneys to be over before declaring champs or you have to drop BB. Can't have it both ways.
Also, we all know how well UL has been doing, past and present. You don't have to be a jerk about it. You're starting to sound like a UT fan.

Madam, with all due respect I believe UL winning the SBC Basketball Tournament allowed the Cajuns to play in the NCAA Tournament while Texas State was sitting home in San Marcos. But I will keep that in mind just in case Texas State finds a way to win the SBC Baseball Tournament and gets in a NCAA regional. Be consistent? Let me also say until Texas State actually wins something in the SBC, you are in no position to criticize the UL athletic program.

I do believe we won VB and went to the NCAA tourney. While not the team as a whole, our guy won the individual men's golf title and was invited to the NCAA's and our gals golf team is going to an NCAA regional.
I was not criticizing Louisiana, I was pointing out the inconsistency of the post. Either the regular season title or the tourney championship. Which is it? It's a given that UL has taken softball and baseball (regular season) titles, they haven't won the tourneys....yet (more than likely though). However, they didn't take the regular season men's BB title but won the tourney. So, claim one or the other for BsB/SB. If the tourney title...then wait on it. That's all.
You guys have to unwad your panties. UL has great athletics....I never said they didn't. TXST will be a force down the line. Becoming members of the SBC raised our profile and will bring in better athletes as the years go by.
PS - I'll take 3rd place in the SBC our first year. Shows potential.

It seems you may need to unwad your own panties, jumping on a Cajun fans comments directed at a Monroe fan. The comments had nothing to do with Texas State or you.

Im pointing out our accomplishments. Whether it was reg season champ or tourney champ. There has never, ever been a Sunbelt team accomplish in a single season, what UL's athletic dept is accomplishing in 2013/14..Mind you, in the same stroke of the key pointing out how useless Bubba Gump is. As much as I like some of the WKU guys, did they actually win any conference championships in any of the major sports? Maybe womens basketball?? T&F?
Ill say it again, UL has gotten more National attn. by accomplishing the things I listed than any Bubba Gump winner in history.
Ya'll keep protecting the SBC poster child in Monroe...We'll keep being jerks and winning stuff.
