RE: Ward Senior Bowl notes
Ward had a decent game. Hard to tell in that setting. They had him down in slot one on one as much as they had him at single high. He pushed around the slot guys pretty well and had a nice tackle on a tight end and then laid a smack down to the same guy to break up a pass.

IMO, didn't do anything to push back his draft status or jump up that much higher from the game. Still should be 2-3rd round.

Yep, he was rarely challenged in the game and when he was he did really well. On the other hand, I felt like Bucannon, another safety in the game who seems to be rated about the same, was out of position a lot. Ward clearly outplayed him.

Gotta agree, I think Bucannon is over-rated. He's known as a big hitter but struggled in coverage. Looked lost quite a few times. Very physically imposing, but don't think he has the coverage skills to cover any slot guy. Run stopper, although he did have quite a few picks in college.

It was nice to see when the 2nd half started the announcers said Jalen Saunders from OU was going to get a corner route from Carr (Saunders played one year at Fresno ironically) and Jimmie just sort of pushed him off his route in back to back plays. Saunders shredded the Bama defense in the Sugar Bowl.

Bears fans, get ready to be upset according to this mock draft.

Jimmie Ward picked in the 1st round at #21 to.....Green Bay (I hate the Packers). Being a first round pick would be pretty cool though.

They also showcase Diesel (LONG LIVE DIESEL!!!)

No thank you. I don't want to root against him.

+1 and add in that I don't want him with the Lions, Vikings or Pats either.
