Just spoke w/ Hokes Bluff coach Watkins. Said everything w/ 4-star Isaac Haas is "on hold." Didn't sign w/ Wake. Should decide next week.

think you guys have a chance at Haas? Would probably push you into the top 25 recruiting classes if you got him too.

He has a relative working at uab hospital or something like that. UAB was considered the favorite for a while. Til wake forest introduced him to chris paul and tim Duncan. and hes a spurs fan

hmm, maybe he finally learned about the coach and backed out. Can't figure out why anyone would want to play at Wake at this point.

They have a TERRIBLE coach and the ACC is even more difficult now with Cuse, Pitt, and ND in the mix than it was.

He'd have a much better chance of dancing with UAB.

His comments certainly have led to a lot of speculation about who the other high profile commit is. We will see if it plays out. I wonder if UAB would even still be interested in Haas if he were to show interest in UAB again. Not because of any grudge, but just based on our situation with bigs. Then again, I don't think you could turn your back on a 7 footer with his skill set.

Still hoping that we can get a big time PG. There are still a few left out there, but don't know that we're really in the mix for any of them.
