His comments certainly have led to a lot of speculation about who the other high profile commit is. We will see if it plays out. I wonder if UAB would even still be interested in Haas if he were to show interest in UAB again. Not because of any grudge, but just based on our situation with bigs. Then again, I don't think you could turn your back on a 7 footer with his skill set.
Still hoping that we can get a big time PG. There are still a few left out there, but don't know that we're really in the mix for any of them.
hell yes. Remember we will have frazier and watts next season at the point. We are pushing for Dazon Ingram for 2015. Everybody but Mehinti can shoot from long range as far as next years team and recruits go. Calhoun can run the point as well

2 Pgs Frazier Watts
3 SGs Brown, Rideau Calhoun
3 SFs Washington Madison Sullivan
2 PFs Lee Cokley
1 C Mehetni
We have room for 2 more players... we could use another Center and a PG.

Haas/gueye and Wesley person jr. My only guess.

We don't have that many folks that can reliably hit 3s. Swing, Purifoy, and Rob are 3 guys that are at least decent from the perimeter, but none of them are here next year. I think we need more SGs or even a PG.
Having said that, again, I don't think you could say no to Haas. Gueye would also be a good pick-up.

I'm gonna trust coach and hope that the guys we have in brown, Madison, Rideau, et al. can shoot well from the perimeter... He seems to have recruited really well with Foz, Rucker, Frazier, and Washington. He just has those three guys that you mentioned and there hasn't been many minutes for Rideau and or Madison to show what they have outside.

Not necessarily. When your goal is to come in and compete for playing time right away (as Lee wants), then watching a game we aren't dominating like we should might not be a bad thing.
