Yeah, a true rock legend. I know he went through a lot of struggles to start off his career. The guy always had a bigger than life personality.

He lived his last years in Middle Tennessee, in a huge house on a small farm near Lynchburg and a penthouse in Nashville and was spotted frequently in Murfreesboro...

Completed my Ozzy solo cd studio albums collection a few days ago. Such classic material to go through.

I also decided to get the Alterbridge studio album collection now, just good listening kind of rock music.

I decided to also pick up some Chris Stapleton with his 3 studio albums.

In a spur of the moment, but had been thinking about a while, I got Ice-T's Home Invasion.

I also completed my Wyclef Jean collection of studio albums with one I had been sitting on for a while because the price was too high.

Was listening to some old 70s hits and came across this song...

For a very short while, this mystery band was rumored to be the Beatles, and the rumor pushed the album and a couple of the songs on to the charts. This song was covered a little later by the Carpenters

My road trip music for going to the beach yesterday:
Lead off the trip with this one because my music player was having so many issues picking up the file folder for it that my only fix was deleting the three periods that begin the album titles name.

Ehh, these two albums aren't bad rock albums but, in my eyes, they just aren't Def Leppard. While both have that pop sheen Def Leppard had, they lacked the edge that Hysteria and backward had.

I love this album.

A truly great album.

A pretty strong opening for the band IMO.

Many of the Waffle House songs were written or co-written by Jerry Buckner. One was sung by Gary Garcia.

Maybe those names sound just a bit familiar to you...maybe not...but you probably remember this song if you are of a certain age:

Artists: Buckner & Garcia
Album: Pac-Man Fever
Song: "Pac-Man Fever"
December 1981 BGO Records/Columbia/CBS Records

The album featured many songs based on classic video games:

Track listing
No. Title Game
1. "Pac-Man Fever" Pac-Man
2. "Froggy's Lament" Frogger
3. "Ode to a Centipede" Centipede
4. "Do the Donkey Kong" Donkey Kong
5. "Hyperspace" Asteroids
6. "The Defender" Defender
7. "Mousetrap" Mouse Trap
8. "Goin' Berzerk" Berzerk

....and, yes, I still own my copy of the album.

I know of them but have probably only heard a handful of songs from them. I can't quite say I hate them but I can't say I like them either. Heck, I'm not even sure they are still together LOL.
