I agree. Also have felt that Karen Carpenter had one of the smoothest, cleanest purest female voices ever recorded:

Richard Carpenter doesn't get much respect, but he was a genius as a songwriter.

There are times when I'm in a mellow mood and I'll throw on one of my old Carpenters records or cds. Also, the Carpenters Christmas Album is a standard for the holidays.

not so shockingly, it's a another version of the vines......or the vines are.....or both are product of the ramones....or is it jack white.....or another of which product due to the the british invasion that latch onto those missippy blues fellas....
