The reason I like this thread over the one on the Sports Bar is you guys post more tunes I like from bands I like...
Lets say that I was testing some returned sound bar systems at work to see if they really were busted or just folks expecting more from less of a audio system... So I had a rigged set up of a old GPX dvd player using stereo out to the Sound bar systems.... and I brought in my game day mix cds from the car... ended jamming out a little while cleaning up the space...
Crappy sound bar subs sounded like notebook paper speaker cones...
the bass crushed those sissy woofers...
and the main speakers couldn't take some decent metal
Rule #1 of Fight Club, don't puss out on home audio...why have your tunes sound like crap?

Is Pink Floyd and acquired taste? I know they get a lot of respect but even folks that like other bands I like, I have yet to get how they think Pink Floyd is great.
