RE: BB preseason polls
Not that I doubt you guys saying Jim Boeheim has an impressive coaching tree of former players, but I can only think of one player... Louie Orr. Pitino was an assistant only. What players besides Orr am I forgetting?

Lazarus Sims heads up Binghamton and Lawrence Moten is the head coach of the Rochester RazorSharks of the Premier Basketball league, Troy Murphy at Eastern Michigan, although I dont believe he played at SU but he coached there for years. Stevie Thompson, the HC at Cal State, Allen Griffen, the assistant at Providence and every assistant on the SU staff. There are some other assistants as well, but I never heard of them, so I doubt you have heard of them. Must have been walkons or something.

RE: BB preseason polls
So, Jim Boeheim's coaching tree of former players, after 37 years at Syracuse, includes:
- Louie Orr.
- Stevie Thompson, head coach of Div-2 Cal-State Los Angeles.
- Lazarus Sims, assistant coach at Binghamton of America East.
- Lawrence Moten, head coach of a team in Rochester.
Are we forgetting anyone? This coaching tree is second only to Coach K's...?

Thanks to that b.s. handcheck rule instituted this year, a lot more zone will probably be played and that cheater Boeheim might be pooping in tall cotton.

Ahh, I never said that at all. I dont even know where that comes from. Obviously, Boeheims coaching tree is much larger than that with some big names. But Jimmy B was never really smart about building a coaching tree of former assistants until about 12 to 15 years ago when he started getting older.

every KU fan is "made" about that one.....

just ask the KU child molester fan who fingered bernie fine and specifically stated 2003 was the reason why. (yeah i know he doesnt represent the entire KU fanbase but that was an unforgivable act)

I may have misinterpreted what you wrote in Post #53 by combining it with John's Post #54...
