I was just a few miles away that "Mischief Night" on 10/30/75, doing the same minor mischief these kids were doing. Kennedy cousin Michael Skakel murdered Martha Moxley by bashing her skull with a golf club. Now a radical judge has ordered a retrial, even though an appeal to the Connecticut Supreme Court already failed.

Dang. I vaguely remember some of the trial stuff.

Far, FAR be it from me to take the Kennedy's side of anything, but I really do believe that there is a lot of reasonable doubt about Michael Skakel's guilt in this matter.

I also know that -- at various points in time -- different members of Martha Moxley's family have said they think he is guilty, and other members of her family have said they think he didn't do it.

I believe he admitted committing the murder to friends at boarding school. For those that know the characters involved, their relationships, and the sequence of events, he is by far the most likely suspect.

A jury has already heard all of the arguments and reached a verdict. And this has already been reviewed by the Connecticut Supreme Court. Skakel's new attorney alleges that Mickey Sherman (a high priced defense lawyer) didn't do a good enough job at the trial in 2002. That idea is preposterous.

Martha Moxley, Chappaquiddick ... that whole Kennedy thing is sickening.
