RE: Walmart customers riot when unable to use EBT cards
One article mentioned that the EBT cards in several places in Louisiana showed no limit which sparked an all out spending spree that left the aisles naked.

Personally, they need to locate those who did that and arrest them for theft.

Consequence of the welfare state. I hope a few bleeding heart Liberals get stampeded in the riots.

But then they'll just get lawyers and become the newest lottery winners.

Sometimes I really question if you guys are actual people and not just algorithms programmed by Limbaugh to repeat random, vague, and meaningless right wing rhetoric.

Who's holding a gun to their head and making them work at Walmart? Life choices.

Yeah, shame on me for wanting to support a business that is profitable and treats their employees well. I should instead support the business that treats other americans horribly while relying on government programs to shore up their benefits packages.

Great values there pal, all around.

Better yet just doc their EBT account the amount that they took out... If they went over limit just take it out of next months....

So you don't find it telling in the least that people living off the public dole just raided a walmart because their EBT cards said no limit?

They showed on television scenes of what looked like a hundred or more carts filled with groceries just left in the aisles with no food on the shelves.

Please nobody gives a fat rats behind where you shop. You seem to be the one finger wagging about other people's choices.

Disturbing to think that you could get away with free food because of a computer glitch, and grown people believe it's the
right thing to do.

+1. It won't take much for the "give me free stuff, you owe me" crowd to resort to stealing and somehow think it's ok.

That already occured at these walmarts. Those people were stealing by loading up the shopping carts after being told the ebt cards were limitless. Common thieves and nothing less. These thieves just left the carts full and left after finding out their ebt cards had balances again. So the thieves left the carts for the walmart workers to put everything back on the shelves. So the working person once again picks up the slack frpm the thieves.

I'm not sure how it is where you're at, but over this way in Shreveport, the Sam's Club is nothing like the horror that awaits you at Wal-Mart... We don't have a Costco near though.

If I'm not mistaken, that's what they're gonna do... Watch even worse riots as these selfish piece of sh*ts get infuriated for having their funds docked after walking out of Wal-Mart with 8 and 10 carts of free food...

Typical attitude for a welfare bottom dweller. And yet the liberals can't understand why we don't want to support this BS. These are all Obama's people, his supporters... Free food? grab the carts, we're going crazy! Oh darn, the glitch is fixed, I'll just leave the cart full of food here. Nevermind the normals who were on their way to buy food with their hard earned money, and nevermind the fact that you were too f*cking greedy to try to get away with just 1 cart of food. Stupid leaching bottom feeding ridiculous sacks of sh*t. What a waste of flesh.

I hope they lose their food stamps. Or at least get docked. Something tells me the government will apologize for the glitch and not do a damn thing though. But I could be wrong since this happened in Louisiana...

I've never had any issues with Sam's Club, but I prefer Costco because I respect their CEO.

He pays himself a paltry salary compared to his Fortune 500 peers, offers his workers insurance, consistent schedules that don't vary wildly each week, and a wage they can live on without the need for government assistance.

He's still immensely wealthy, despite paying his workers significantly more than peer companies and giving them health insurance which they have to pay less than 10% of the premium for, and 401k match.

Their CEO said this:

Quote:“I just think people need to make a living wage with health benefits,” says Jelinek. “It also puts more money back into the economy and creates a healthier country. It’s really that simple.”

I expect this "glitch" happened when they combined the welfare and Obamacare systems... nobody has brought that likelihood up.
