People shouldn't be upset at our attendance. Take a look at UVA, homecoming and probably 1/3 full and quiet.

UVA has always had bad fans. Our aim should be higher than those guys. :)

UVA has not always had lousy turnouts, when we went there those two years in a row in the early 80's, that place was full. I know, that was a long time ago and that I am old, but they were a terrible team back then and they still had support.

Been to UVA games against Florida st (the famous Thursday night game), Texas, auburn, Clemson, tech and others and the place was packed and rocking.

NOT TRUE! The top two craziest games I have ever been to were both at UVA. One was when they were playing Texas, the other Florida State. The Texas game was so crazy my brother-in-law (who had season tickets and often invited me), standing beside me (no one was sitting) was screaming in my ear and I couldn't understand what he was trying to say because of all of the noise. I also saw the UVA Cavalier mascot and the Georgia Tech bee mascot get into a knock-down, drag-out fight. Terry Holland personally came out onto the field to break it up. There is some crazy sh!t happening in C'ville.

Thanks Bulldog! I do my best to maintain decorum and civility in intercollegiate athletics.
By the way, I truly hope some of my contributions to the Carr report data help swing the pendulum to Alger's decision. He has been pussyfooting around so as not to ruffle too many feathers in the transition to Division 1-A tackle football. Keep in mind that the ink is dry and the deal is done.
your buddy,
Terry Holland
