Georgia Southern beating Western Carolina 63-0 and Alabama doing the same does not make those teams equal in strength. Too many other variables go into a score's final margin.

Of course transitive property is not the ONLY thing!!!! No one said it was. Like you said, way too many variables. But if you ignore common opponents then you may as well ignore strength of schedule. It just happens to be an important analytical tool, among many others.

Bulldogg, some of the predictions made on this board are people joking, some are people drinking too much kook aid, but there are people here that attend every home game, every away game, practices, summer camp, and are extremely close to the team. I know that you follow as closely as you can, but living in Hawaii, you can't see any of that in person, and for the most part are stuck with viewing through the horrible lens of Madizone. There are some things about this team that you can't pick up watching through the computer. I'm not saying you don't know what you are talking about, and I for one really enjoy your opinion and predictions. But after being at a game in person, and coming home and watching it on Madizone, I feel like I'm watching the game through one of those things you watch eclipses through.
