The opening kick off and what else? Thanksgiving belongs to Fox and CBS. Also where are they showing this game? NBC sports doesn't have the household reach that the NFL would be looking for. Also NBC has not shown the fortitude to open up their wallets for valuable sports properties.

NBC has a Thanksgiving game now as well with the new deal(remember, the old Butt Fumble was on NBC last year).

Oh I hadn't realized it moved off the NFL network.

Even so, those are more like one shots and not the same as saying they have the right to Thursdays.

It'd be interesting to see if they had a right of taking that in their deal. Of all the networks, NBC would be the one that could potentially put games on Thursday night regularly.

Not really, Thursday has always been their big night of shows.

Article with additional info on Big East Madness on FS1 and Tarik Turner (former St. John's player) being a game analyst. Rob Stone moderating (who also moderates for College Football intermissions).

Rob Stone is a lot of fun.

I liked him announcing the PBA Tour a lot.

Hey, I caught a lot of the Palace-Arsenal game today on NBC SN. They lost but looked great after a bad stretch over the past month plus. I liked the lineup that the new coach played. Puncheon on bench was perfect. Bannan was good. I liked the 4 defenders he used, the same that played vs Sunderland (Ward, Gabbidon, Delaney and Moxey).
04-cheers

Join us in the soccer thread! I'm mainly an Everton fan (their firmly in the EPL) CP is my second choice/Championship team when they're not in the EPL.
