well that is why I think it childish and immature to start name calling people in a post. I think someone starts with a not that insulting although somewhat insulting name and then the whole discussion turns into romper room school with people getting regressively worse until someone sinks to the bottom and calls a very insulting name that offenses many other posters. I am trying to maintain this rule of when someone calls me a demeaning name to just drop the discussion like I did when a fellow USM fan that I had a pretty good deal of respect for called me a dork so I just didn't post anymore on the subject and tried to forget it although I thought it was sad he had sacrificed some respect to stoop to immature name calling. I forgive him for it and will probably enter discussions again with him, but it will take time before he regains his level of credibility with me again. The one he turned up damaging the most was himself.

I'm not referring to any poster in particular, I've never had an issue with the poster being discussed; but it's no secret that in those last 2 sentences you've outlined a lot of my outlook.

1) If you want people to take you seriously, credibility is all anyone has. If someone pretty consistently "goes off" on a childish rant, how level-headed can their thought process really be?
2) Many times I learn more about a poster who needlessly "goes off" on someone else than the I learn about his target.

Subtle humor appears to be a lost art on some members of a whole video game generation. After a history of being mostly unreasonable the number of reset buttons available becomes pretty small.

Plenty of coaches have a rocky start. CJ took a bare cupboard and his recruiting for us has been bonanzas since he came. We're back to local kids again. + every major pitfall in the Toledo era improved last year.

Rocky starts with ****** programs are expected.

The reality is each school will do what is best for them. Tulsa is no different. If you get invited to earn more money and get more exposure you're going to do it. Simple as that.
