You don't play out of this history. The next two games he might go 7-11 from three which will guarantee absolutely nothing about his performance in game three.

Quote:Chris has played 32 games in which he has taken five 3's or more.

In 16 of those games, he shot 40% or better.

In 14 of those games he shot 25% or under.

In 2 games he has shot between 25% and 40%.

That is unreal in terms of how inconsistent that is.

RE: Chris Crawford
After reading this thread, I've come to the conclusion that some of our "fans" (for mimi) think we have good defenders in the backcourt. Me, I just don't see it. I think it's one of our real weaknesses. Maybe they know more than me. Maybe not.

RE: Chris Crawford
Chris's shot problems are about mechanics and rhythm. If he gets the ball when he is wide open and he has in a way "too much time" he bends down too low in his shooting motion. He seems to do better when the catch and release is made as one fluid motion with little time to look the shot in. A perfect example was the long 3 he made just at the buzzer at half time on the inbound pass to DJ and his quick pass to Chris. The other problem is shooting a 3 off the dribble and again the rhythm is not in sync with his mechanics. He does better off the dribble in the 10 to 12 foot range. Shooting threes off the dribble he tends to lean forward on the shot as opposed to going straight up when he shoots a set shot. His shot, when he misses, is only off by a fraction and that is mechanical. Much like loosing your swing in golf. Frustrating but correctable.
