Here in my part of Ohio - almost no signs for either candidate...... actually very few for state wide races either. Some bumper stickers, but not even alot of them. I actually expect the sinage to ramp up in October and obviously, November.

I've seen very few in my area as well. Maybe once October hits we'll see a bump, but I do remember more yard signs (both for national and local candidates) back in the 90s.

One theory is that maybe people have heard one too many stories in the news about people getting their sign stolen, their car/house vandalized, etc, by having the "wrong" sign. It's a small percentage to be sure, but maybe it's enough to make people pause. So people are wanting to be more private about their political affiliations and not let the whole neighborhood know.

Or maybe it's just simply gone out of style, like you said.

It's not a major deal and certainly won't effect the race one way or the other. It's just an oddity. I do see a lot of folks on Facebook who let me know they like Mitt Romney. But that's about it.

I see lots of them. Other than my Gary Johnson signs, they are the only signs I see. Then again, I do live in "the most republican county in the US."

I don't know if they aren't there or my mind shuts them out. I'm sick of political signs and stickers. I'm going to put an Obama sign in my yard.

I really didn't notice any this spring either. But by the time PA hits, we usually have an nomination. But yea, its pretty quiet here in Wash County(PA) as well. Other than the stupid ads on TV.

I don't get car stickers.

I remember my dad telling me, "You're going to want to sell that car one day, and what if the only guy interested voted for the other guy?"

I've seen a whopping one in my area. I've seen zero Obama ones. Maybe we just don't care to have the signs?

I made it a point to look today while I was driving. I saw 3 Romney/Ryan signs and one Pat McCrory sign. No others.

I saw a car the other morning at the gas station with an Obama 2008 sticker with the Obama logo. The other side of the bumper it had OOOPs with the O's being his logo. It was awesome.

I live in Raleigh/Durham and I'm being completely honest here...I've seen more Gary Johnson signs than Romney or Obama.

Too many of them. Romney is everywhere in Florida. 4 years ago, Obama was everywhere. I think I saw a car that said Obama '08, and next to it...Romney '12.

I honestly haven't seen one sign for either of them down here in PWC....

There's a good bumper sticker on a car in the lot I park in for work:

"Help me Mr. Obama! They want me to work for a living!"

Pretty much nothing here in El Paso, but what are these people supposed to do, they're liberals who hate Obama.

Have not seen any yard signs for either in DC. In NOVA I am rarely in a residential subdivision, but will be so this weekend and will keep an eye out.

Have not noticed many bumber stickers for either side yet.

At somepoint soon however the road median strips will fill up with signs in NOVA.

I don't think Obama is concentrating on yard signs. Here in my 60-40 Dem neighborhood, there aren't any. There are a few GOP signs. Basically a Insurance agent who is a right winger goes out and gets the signs and distributes them to all of his tea party neighbors.

Everyone I know is voting. The same way they did in 08.
