Joe Biden. Obama has a record. Bin Laden dead, Khadaffy dead, and out of Iraq.

Are you retarded?

No answer huh? Just copy and paste the typical conservative response.

It's all about comparison. In 2008 McCain was talking about staying in Iraq for 100 years and bombing Iran. Obama had Biden on the ticket help with foreign policy. In 2012 you have 2 republicans with no foreign policy experience except shipping jobs to China 05-stirthepot vs a president who kill Bin Laden.

I'll say this about Ryan. He's the first Republican on the ticket to bring fresh ideas since Reagan. The dems shouldn't sleep on him, because somebody that has new ideas can inspire.

Paul Ryan ... because ..... uhhhhhhhh ......... .. . . that helps his fiscal credentials to have a guy who wants to balance the budget by the year 4082?

I hope gutless wonder Ryan goes down in his House race if he is attempting to keep his seat.

No, it's really not. Idiot.

I wouldn't have chosen Ryan but it is what it is. He appeals to the base and will ensure they get out and vote.

Ryan is also very intelligent. It took him 6 minutes to destroy Obama on Obamacare at the show summit the Narcissist In Chief called to discuss Healthcare. He'll obliterate Biden in the debates and he comes across as a serious politician, not the empty suit Romney, Obama and Biden all put off.

He'll be a great attack dog for the campaign, which is what the VP is.

And for every liberal who would have the gall to question his experience I have one word for you, Obama. The least qualified man to ever be elected to any office ever.

Niner thought Palin would excite the base too. 03-lmfao

What happened to the "Big Red Machine"? They never made mistakes like this. They were always the smart guy in the room. Guess what? The base is ALREADY EXCITED and MOTIVATED. You need to expand. The wolf in sheeps clothing types. You're nominating sheep in wolves clothing. Sheeps to slaughter. If a Democrat could have picked Mitt's running mate Ryan would make the shortest of short lists. I need to research the **** you said about Palin when Democrat's howled in laughter in 08'. I remember the standard. You just don't get it Mach. This will excite the base. The base is frothing at the mouth as it is.............. You need to expand. Horrible horrible pick for Willard.

Um, she did. Quite a bit in point of fact. And the base still loves her. There really is no debate about that. But then again you are prone to try and pick a fight based on your complete ignorance. Kind like spending months accusing people of editing posts after you post because you can't read a time stamp.

As for the rest of what you posted, it seems you just 03-puke on the internet, so I'll leave it be.

Maybe that Kenyan Birth Certificate will pop up? Who knows. Buck up troops you still have a shot. 03-lmfao

Niner I'm going to try. You are exactly right she did excite the base, but it cuts both ways. You need to find a guy that doesn't scare the beejeezus out of the other side or better yet at least at their margins. You are trying to score with 20 percent of the electorate. Ryan doesn't do that. He's going to be easy to paint.

RE: Mittens announces VP pick Saturday at 9am.
Here you go Mach, I did the work you aren't capable of.

From a political analysis written by two Tulane Professors on the 2008 race.

Quote:Exciting the Base of the Republican Party
Earlier, we discussed the scholarly expectation that a vice-presidential
nominee should rally the base of the party. This potential function of the
vice-presidential nominee was not forgotten by the McCain campaign, as
Schmidt explicitly indicated the necessity for selecting a running mate who would excite the base of the party. We explore this topic further with survey data over the course of the general election campaign.
Figure 3 presents data on the ratings by self-identified conservatives (the‘ base’’ of the Republican Party) of the favorability of Palin. The story is unsurprising. The only unique detail in the trend of favorable=unfavorable ratings is the fact that one-third of conservatives were unwilling to rate Palin immediately after her selection. This is further testament to how unanticipated Palin’s selection was, as even many conservatives had not heard of her and were unwilling to rate her. Following her introduction to the public, however, Palin manages to excite conservatives and maintains a strongly favorable rating among them for the duration of the campaign, ending with a 63.5 percent net favorable rating a week before the election.

Yet the McCain campaign was not merely interested in goodwill toward
Palin among conservatives; they needed conservative votes. Figure 3 also presents data on trial ballot preferences among conservatives over the course of the fall campaign. Again, this is a largely unsurprising story, as the Republican ticket leads substantially among conservatives for the duration of the campaign. It is important to note, though, that conservative support drops slightly after the first week of September (immediately following the onset of the financial crisis) to only a 51.5 percentage point lead for the Republican ticket. After continuing to fall though October, conservative support FIGURE 3 Data points correspond to percentage of conservative respondents in CNN=
Opinion Research Corp. polls reporting favorable and unfavorable opinions toward Palin, as well as the difference in those opinions and the percentage of conservative respondents intending to vote for the Republican ticket. rebounds at the end, with the Republican ticket holding a 57.8 percentage point lead immediately before Election Day. However, on the whole the McCain campaign ought to be pleased with this aspect of Palin’s candidacy, as she remained popular among conservatives and the ticket won conservative voters by a considerable margin.

There, now back to Ryan.

Yes, he can be painted. As a congressman he has a voting record and voting records are easy to distort and lie about. Something we've seen the Obama camp is quite good at.

But Ryan is far more intelligent and ready for prime time than Palin was. And Ryan, when you listen to him explain his positions, doesn't come across as scary. He comes across as a thinker and a serious person.

Like I said I wouldn't have picked him. I would have gone with Jindal or Christie. But I think Ryan is going to be a good campaigner and will help with independents. But at the end of the day VP picks don't win elections. People vote for the top.

That was nice. So Palin got Consevatives to vote for McCain over Barack Hussein Obama. Good work there. I didn't realize that. Those Tulane professors must have had some down time. Stunning revelations.

Seriously,
