Anybody hear this interview Clemson prez on Big 12? More in Post 13
I saw this tweet as I was for some reason still following the Mizzou to SEC account. Anybody hear this interview they are referring to here or know what station it was on?

Clemson Prez told a Carolina radio station today that if CU had any interest in leaving the ACC, it "certainly wouldn't be for the Big12."

Yeah, cause I'm sure if a Missouri fan posts something on twitter negative about the league they just bolted it MUST be true--even if their isn't anything or anyone to corroborate it.

James Barker, on a Columbia radio station. He was asked about expansion rumors pertaining to the big 12. He said they have not been contacted and if they were, they would politely decline. That they have "absolutely no interest in leaving the ACC and if they did, they certainly would not consider the big 12". He said the travel expense would be enormous, they do not feel Clemson would be a fit for them in any manner. That they are excited about the future of the ACC and the possibility of their expansion.
Straight from the horses mouth. Suck on that big texass.

Denials mean little, ringmaster. Every move that has been made has been preceeded by a denial that any discussions were taking place, with the exception of Pitt and Syracuse's move to the ACC. That announcement came out of the blue for Marinatto...

Except when your denial is as strongly stated as this one. He can't exactly take this back and put a bow on it:

It's like VT's denial of SEC rumors.
Are we supposed to take the word of a poster on a Mizzou website re: what the Clemson president said on radio re: the Big 12? Seriously? I'll wait for the press release.

I think clemson would love to be in the sec as team 15 or 16. I just don't' see them making a proactive move to the big 12 no matter what the short term $ pop may be if at all, nor do i see the big 12 wanting them. I could see ESPN try to get FSU in the big 12 with Lville, than shift uconn to the acc, that would make for 2 good leagues...with the acc getting a hoops power and big 12 football. That might put some serious pressure on ND to look at the big 12, acc, and big 10. I guess ND would be paired with rutgers in the big 10/acc or cincy/byu in the big 12, probably cut a deal with cincy + ND/byu football only combo. This would be the ideal big 12:
A: texas, tex tech, tcu, baylor, ou, ok state, fsu
B: ku, ksu, isu, ND, cincy, Lville, WVU
insert byu football only for ND + probably switch divisions with FSU.
