That's my understanding, though I haven't checked the standings to be sure. Central won 2 of 3 against the Rockets when they played this year. I assume that's the tiebreaker.

For now, Central has to rally. Western added one in the eighth and leads 5-3 with Central coming up in its half of the inning.

Going to the 9th in Mount Pleasant, it's still 5-3 Broncos.

Western wins 5-3. And that should clinch the MAC West title for Toledo, as the Rockets lead by two games. Toledo is currently 18-8 and Central drops to 16-10. Conference regular season ends tomorrow.

First division title for the Rockets.

It is also important to note that the Rockets clinched the #2 seed, which is huge, because it means the Rockets are on the opposite side of the bracket from Kent St.

Game 1 of the tournament - #5 seed Western Michigan defeats #4 seed Ohio 4-2.

Coming up at 12:30 Eastern - #3 seed Central Michigan vs. #6 seed Eastern Michigan

Eastern beat Central 4-3.

Enough of the lower seeds winning. That better end in the next game.

Apparently the game has started but live stats doesn't seem to be loading. At least not for me.

Live stats is working at least for now. News isn't good. RedHawks get two in the first and lead 2-0 in the top of the second.

2-0 after 3, according to live stats. Though it still doesn't seem to be working well. And they're not posting updates on Facebook either, though occasionally that was done for the earlier games. Maybe there are technical problems at the park.
