No score after one in Bowling Green. Rockets loaded the bases with two out in the top of the first but didn't get the hit they needed. Falcons had a two-out double in their first but nothing else.

UT with four in the second. A double, an infield single, a sacrifice fly, a bunt single, a fly out for out #2 and then a 3-run blast.

4-1 going to the third. Falcons with an unearned run in the second.

Neither team scored in the third.

Going to the fifth. Still 4-1.

UT with two unearned runs in the fifth. A one-out error, a fly out, a double put runners on second and third and then both runners scored on a two-out error.

A walk followed; BG changing pitchers.

Nothing else for the Rockets in the fifth. BG coming up.

BG gets three in the fifth. 6-4 going to the sixth.

UT answers with two in the sixth. With two out and nobody on, a single and a home run give the Rockets an 8-4 lead.

In game 2, Rockets lead 5-2 after 1 inning. A big first for UT: a hit batter, a stolen base, a single for the first run, a double play, three singles to load the bases, a single for two runs and then a double to make it 5-0.

Toledo's defense hurt them again in the bottom of the inning as BG scored twice.

A leadoff double, a foul out, and a single and error put runners on second and third with one out. A run scored on another error, followed by a fly out. A single scored the second run before a groundout ended the inning.

As I'm typing, the Rockets have loaded the bases with nobody out in the top of the second. Another five-spot sounds like a good idea.

Rockets get 4 to make it 9-2.
