Does anyone know what his other offers were?

I have no doubts that Doeren is 100% focused on NIU otherwise he wouldn't have brought in 3 coaches that have strong NIU ties.
HUGE focus on ramping up instate recruiting to get the best products close to home.
He's (DD) NIU's Chris Petersen/Gary Patterson.
:fingerscrossed:
Am I the only one who thinks its a bit premature to talk about CIW? Also Petersen and Patterson had zero ties to their schools prior to their hiring as coordinators.
I was referring to DD.
And to your point, DD fits that profile of Petersen and Patterson having zero ties to their schools prior to their hiring.

At a donor event in 2003, I won an auction for a big photo poster of Steve Azar, one of my all-time favorite Huskies, kicking a field goal. I was having Steve autograph the poster when P.J. walked over asked if he could sign it, kidding that no one has any respect for the holder. Of course, I was more than happy to have P.J. sign it. Now I have a great poster signed by two of my favorite Huskies!

Yes, but do you have a football signed by Hurd?
Seriously, that's sweet. Azar was great. I'm not normally big on signatures but it would be neat to get some signatures on my game program from the MACC. Even role players' signatures, they all played a part in what unfolded this past year.
