My dad had(has?) a Montgomery Ward 8 track and record player and I believe one of his cars had an 8 track(I want to say it was his Chevy Monza but I could be wrong. He may still have some 8 track tapes. I am not sure.

Some Freggin Monza's came with a C-350ci Corvette Engine in them !!!!!

The engine was almost as long as the car its self ....

This thing would Screaming Fly .... and I like the style of the Monza and almost bought one - - settled on a Cutlass Supreme with the 350 Rocket Engine instead.

They didn't make the Monza for very long ... most came with a horrible little 4-Cylinder 90HP job and the Corvette Engine was usually special order or you got a 350 V8 that was throttled down to 'nothing', but Dealers kept a few of the High Horse Power versions on the lot for those Adventurous Souls.

The one I was test driving was Metal Flake Gold with Vinyl Sun-Roof Top and the Ubiquitous "8-Track Tape Player" ... 4 Speed 400 Power Glide Transmission and I believe also with a 2-Speed Rear End on the C-350 High Pro Model.
