I had to go to 7 different Kohl's stores throughout Northern Ohio. I had alot of time to think and I started a debate with myself. On one hand I ran across exactly 2 K-Marts from Findlay Oh, to Lorain, to Avon, to Medina, To Parma, to Highland Hieghts. At every Kohl's there were Home Depots, Panerra Breads. It was almost a cookie cutter approach to just about every shopping place. Now hear me out. What happened to all the K-Marts????? 20 years ago you had K-Marts and the malls. I remember going X-mas shopping and you hit the malls and K-Mart. We didn't have a Kohl's. We didn't have the plethora of choices. Nobody is bailing out K-Mart workers. So I guess for the first time today I came to that realization. The strongest survive.............................. These choices are alot better than we had before..............
Now on the other HAND............. These non-union states have no idea what it is to create wealth.
Are you kidding me?
You have never had a job in the commercial sector, and you know what it takes to build wealth?
Again w/ spouting ignorance with such abandon! Sorry Mach, we're not ignorant 13 year olds who scribble notes and believe your every fairy tale.
You're such a poser, a coward who can't compete in the free market, so he criticizes it at every turn. And the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Make a pie from that.

Retard I worked my way through college and have had summer jobs to supplement my income. You don't know me, for that I am thankful. It's too bad they don't have internet restraining orders.

Once again, using an emoticon doesn't negate the silliness of your post. What got us into this mess were not conservative principles. QED.

How in the hell did Shelby and Sessions "wreck" GM, Ford, and Chrysler? Seems to me that award goes to the people RUNNING those companies. ....and if they can't make it without forcing the taxpayers to hold their hands, they should be out of business. Packard, AMC, Eagle, Willys, how many others like these were pushed out of business by the "Big 3"?
Hell with'em. If they can't survive on their own, without my forced tax dollars, they shouldn't survive.

AMEN!
All of these folks on the political left HATE trusts and monopolies...they hate GM for destroying public transport...they hate these companies for low fleet MPGs and selling SUVs
But suddenly, these evil institutions have to be retained using tax dollars! What kind of Bizarro world is this!?
Geez people, Reagain wasn't advocating this when he quipped this joke, "“If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And If it stops moving,. subsidize it.”

OK.... take a turn....TURN LEFT...GO NORTH...ALL THE WAY TO THE NORTHWEST.
Did you get there??? OK, now tell me WHAT exactly is the matter with the International Association of Machinists? They are attempting to destroy the Boeing Company. That region almost lost the 787 Dreamliner airplane. The corporate offices have already moved. The company is sourcing segments of the 787 from around the world, including THE SOUTH !
Now, what exactly does this tell you? Remember, there are industry experts and financial experts that have already voiced their opinion on this serious matter. Tell me how good the union is doing to keep this last remaining single biggest dollar export product that this great nation manufactures (assembles now) on our home turf???
Do some research ... then wade in. Come on RockyMountainFan ... let us see some of your intelligent comment(s).

Nissan is doing worse than the big three. I guess after we bail out the big three, Nissan will be entitled next.

Of course they will. Just wanted to hear from the clown section who want to bail out the big three explain why Nissan wouldn't be entitled to the same.

Links?
Carlos Ghosn runs Nissan as a cult of personality, not on good principles. Ghosn has managed Nissan by sheer will, going against all sorts of good business practices. To his credit, he's managed to make something work for years.
But, I believe they've been in trouble for some time... it's just been easier to cover a multitude of sins when the economy is strong.

What kills me is that we are in a recession, foreclosures are waaay up, jobs are disappearing and these bozos go on strike. Then Boeing offers each member about $36,000 in raises, bonuses and benefit increases and still these people say no. The unions want everyone to care for them but they don't care for anyone but themselves.
