In a June 2003 article recalled the actions that led to Kerry's Silver Star, saying "It took guts, and I admire that."

Now claims in the ad:

"John Kerry has not been honest."

Louis Letson

Now claims in the ad: "I know that John Kerry is lying about his first Purple Heart because I treated him for that injury."

But Letson's name does not appear on any medical record for Kerry. The doctor identified as administering treatment is "J.C. Carreon," who is now dead.

Adrian L Lonsdale

At a 1996 Kerry news conference, spoke of the "bravado and courage of the young officers that ran the Swift boats" and said: "Senator Kerry was no exception. He was among the finest of those Swift Boat drivers."

Now claims in the ad: "And he lacks the capacity to lead."

Van Odell

Now claims in the ad: "John Kerry lied to get his Bronze Star. I know. I was there. I saw what happened."

This contradicts Kerrys' Bronze Star citation as well as the citation of another who received a Bronze Star that day (see below). Also, a damage report for another boat present shows it received three bullet holes.

Larry Thurlow

Now claims: Kerry's boat did not come under fire during a mission in Viet Cong-controlled territory on March 13, 1969. Last month, he swore in an affidavit that Kerry was "not under fire" when he fished Lt. James Rassmann out of the water. He described Kerry's Bronze Star citation, which says that all units involved came under "small arms and automatic weapons fire," as "totally fabricated." He claims he "never heard a shot."

But it turns out Thurlow won his own Bronze Star that day. His own military record cites "enemy small arms and automatic weapons fire" directed at "all units" of the five-boat flotilla. Thurlow's Bronze Star citation him for providing assistance to a damaged Swift boat "despite enemy bullets flying about him."

Thurlow has had 35 years to turn in his Bronze Star. He never did. Yet now he is criticizing Kerry's Bronze Star.

In the meantime, Julian Bond, Michael Moore, Margaret Cho, Terry McAwful and the rest of the Democratic Slander Gang (all except McAwful hiding under the blatant lie of "independence") are "Patriots".


Americans seem to be waking up to the Democratic brand of hypocrisy. That giant sucking sound? It's John Kerry's Presidential hopes going down the crapper.

Of course it is Carl. See, in Liberal Land, the only good soldier is one who comes back from war and calls his fellow soldiers war criminals. The only good soldier is one who comes back and becomes a liberal politician. The rest are scum.

In Liberal Land they excuse blatent and outright racists comments by other liberals but cry foul about comments that require a hefty amount of interpretation and subjective reasoning to classify as racists. They excuse ex KKK chief Sheets Bird and they applaud Garafolo for calling an African American journalist a "House negro". They even do extensive searches on google to try and argue that the term really isn't that big a deal.

In Liberal Land they can say they believe life begins at conception, yet fully and without reservation support a procedure, even up until the 9th month, that ends that life.

In Liberal Land they can say Iraq was a war of choice, yet Kosovo was protecting the security of the United States.

In Liberal land they excuse Clinton from being offered Bin Laden three times and declining him, but will blame Bush for 9/11 simply because he'd been in office barely 7 months.

Hypocricy and double standards are the staple of Liberal Land. Logic and common sense are not allowed. You must hate Bush, believe Halliburton is what's wrong with this country and that the rich should have their money taken from them and redistributed to those who don't earn their own (most of them are liberals as well).

You won't find Liberal Land on any map, but you'll see it's citizens all across this country. The mayor of one of its cities, Kooksville, posts regularly on this board.

I wouldn't recommend visiting there though. While they preach equality and tolerance for all people and their opinions, if you walk in and don't hate Bush, you're likely to be hanged. Cause remember, liking Bush is the only offense that merits capital punishment. Everything else is because the criminal is misunderstood and needs help.
