Kaitlan Collins shares an ally’s criticism of Trump’s Michigan rally
CNN anchor Kaitlan Collins delivered a blunt on-air assessment of President Donald Trump’s crude comments at a Michigan rally....
The remarks came as Trump campaigned in Michigan for Republican Senate candidate Mike Rogers during his 2026 midterm rally blitz.
....
What Trump said at the Michigan rally
Trump (80) has repeatedly talked about the rear of Sen. Jon Husted of Ohio during his midterm campaign swing... At the Michigan rally, he expanded the routine to praise the behind of rapper Nicki Minaj, a Trump supporter who was in the audience and later appeared onstage with him.
“I said I looked at his @ss and I’ve never done that with a man before. It’s true. Off the record, women, yes. Men, no. OK?” Trump said, per the footage aired on CNN. He then turned to Minaj: “By the way, I looked at one hell of a beautiful @ss before: Nicki Minaj. That. That’s hard to miss.”
He added that he hoped Minaj wasn’t insulted, telling the crowd, “we love Nicki.”
Collins’ verdict on air
After airing the footage, Collins said an unnamed Trump ally had offered a blunt assessment. “In response to what you just heard there, one Trump ally told me tonight, quote, ‘The closing here has been @ss, both literally and figuratively,’” she said.
Her panel burst into laughter, but the underlying report was anything but light. Collins said her source was “despondent over how the president is handling the end of the campaign,” per HuffPost.
....
An unnamed source. Okay...? So the coward doesn't want to attach his or her own name to it. Which means what Kaitlan Collins said is most likely a lie.
Hmm, Git, in addition to replying to your own threads to bump them back up after just a few hours, when nobody has replied, now you are linking back to them from new threads, where again, nobody has replied. Sneaky!
When a reporter asked him the simple question of whether he was feeling okay, the orange menace snapped...and the fatty actually had the gall to question the physical fitness and body shape of the reporter.

But this late night sperg posting is pathetic.
As for Trump "sleeping", at least he's not being led around by the Easter Bunny.
3:51 am? Man, I get sleepy by 9 pm and I do get up at that time...to pee and tend to my wife. Sometimes I wonder how some people do it, that is, go to bed so late. I've only done it because I lived the life of an alley cat between marriages and never thought anything of it, I couldn't and wouldn't want to do it again though.
I go to bed at 8 and wake up at 4. I have to be at work before 5.
Dang. What does sleeping 8 hours at one time feel like? I usually sleep about 5, give or take. Never more than 6.
And since I started traveling so much, I never take naps any more. Old people need naps, lol.
Before that point, Trump takes a polite question from another reporter (0:32) about his health.
Then the Reuters reporter, also polite, asks if Trump might be “sick of travel”—but Trump flies off the handle at the word “sick” and hurls abuse at the reporter.

He's such a vile and angry person. The complete antithesis of what we should have as a president.
Its funny that this thread was started about Trump and Byron Donalds. I see the OP has edited that out. Pretty smart considering Trump and Donalds have held 3 or so rallies together since then, Donalds is up nearly double digits in the polls, and the GOP already has a lead in mail-in/early voting in Florida.
Might as well scrub that from your post, right GitinMyHole?

Wild, isn’t it? That in attempting to bully someone he’d choose that line of attack.
I’ve seen Moon Pies with more self-awareness.

Agree, Tom.
This will not be a problem with either Vance or Rubio as president. If a Dem wins, I trust the person is classy and non-confrontational (like Rubio and Vance).
It seems even some Trump supporters are tired of the nastiness from the thin-skinned president. My sister and her husband voted for Trump and have given up hope that he will ever act like a sane and sober adult.

Trump doesn't drink, Bill.
Not that you'd care to want to know that.

I know he doesn't, BHE. My fumble. I failed to use "sober" accurately and fairly. I meant to note "sober" as in "clear headed" and "focused."
The context suggested I feel Trump drinks (as some presidents have). Good catch.

Not sure on Vance, but confident it wont be with Rubio.

Bill, you 100% used sober correctly in your assessment. It's not your fault he apparently only thought it meant not drinking.
