Any rational person with a conscience would come back and publicly acknowledge his mistake. A simple mea culpa would go a long way. But I aint holding my breath waiting on one.

What about it git? Do you have enough backbone to come into the lions' den and acknowledge your mistake? It's not like you killed someone by accident. We ALL see it.

$3.29 on my corner the last few days.

Nice!

That Kroger at summer and Vaughn was 3.09 according to my son.

Yikes. That's likely cheaper than Sams. I'm getting close to needing gas; I may have to drive by there tomorrow.

The US has dropped Nav Bouys in the Strait. Will be convoying ships soon, if not already.

Hmmm, where'd all the lefties go? They ran from this thread like Richard Pryor running from his free base pipe with his hair on fire.

hahaha, yea, I had to get a new kroger card that my kids didnt know the number to.

We would rack up $1 off on the card, and one of them would use it to splash 2 gallons of gas in their car just to save $2. Which really pissed me off when I went to fill up our Yukon which had a 26 gallon tank on it. Hence a new card.

Sounds like something I'd do to my wife since she's the only one of us who ever shops at Kroger. I used to until she just took over. She's done that to a lot of the things I used to do.

They say the 3rd time's a charm, and I'm here to attest to it. If I'd found her when I was 18 instead of my first wife, I'd have been married once instead of 3 times.

She is a female me. There's almost nothing I can do that she can't do as well or better. Any home improvements involve her as either a perfect help mate or a supervisor. It's only when muscle is required that she can't compete, but there are many things she assists with that I couldn't do alone.

Now, if I can just remember her phone number...

I love mine fiercely, but I don't miss them. On one of his trips to Russia when my son was 16-17, I sent my MCI long-distance card with him. I was employed at MCI at that time, so I was issued an LD card. It took one month for me to discover that he'd been calling his girlfriend back home every single night. This was 1994 and the bill turned out to be over 2500 bucks. I negotiated it down to half and made his mom split the rest with me. I wanted to murder him. 625 bucks was a lot back then. Long distance was big business. Kids nowadays have no idea how things were back in the pre-smartphone days.

The national average is approaching 5 dollars.

Lots to love, for those who love inflation.

You're right. Look at those futures plummet!

Trump wins again.

Gitanole: Need we remind you, sir, about inflation under Biden? One of us on the right can, if you'd like.

When the oil starts flowing again in the ME, the US oil companies won't be exporting as much oil as they are now. Remember we are exporting more oil now than ever in the history of the country. This is due mainly to the influx of Venezuelan oil. We will see a decline this weekend if oil keeps trading around $90/bbl through tomorrow. It will change that quick. These doom peddler Leftist oil "experts" are just barking propaganda. WTI was trading at just under $107/bbl 3 days ago. It is currently trading at $91/bbl.

We can make a bet if you'd like, same as the one I made with the WKU fan, $20 donation to the boys and girls club. I bet that however many days it ends up being that the Strait is closed that it will take twice as long for the nationwide average gas price to return to the pre-war average. Meaning if the Strait ends up being closed for 70 days I bet that it takes at least 140 days for the nationwide average to return to the pre-war level.
Deal.
I have this little wager going. As of today, I have 180 days for prices to get down to pre-war levels, and the Strait isn't even open yet. It amazes me how illiterate people are in this country with how capitalism works. Gas prices here are tanking right now. It is in the $3.50/gall range everywhere I go right now. GasBuddy can't even keep up with the prices. And we have a big Jeeping event going on this weekend. Usually prices tick up a little during care events on the Coast.
And the Strait isn't even open yet.
My little wager with bondJohns starts today. It's been 107 days since the Strait of Hormuz was "closed". So we have 214 days for the average gas price to get back down to $2.97/gal. That's January 14, 2027. Tick tock. It's $4.08 today. It will be at $2.97 where I live by next weekend.
